Our first Twyford Walking Group session 🥾🌿
We headed to Alvaston Park, fed the ducks 🦆 and enjoyed a lovely walk together. It may have been raining when we set off, but the skies cleared and so did the mood ☀️ Everyone had such a wonderful time.

Volunteering at Island Haven Community Farm 🌿
Each week, our service user helps care for the animals, cleaning out pens, feeding them, and learning all about their needs from the amazing farm staff 🐾
He’s formed a special bond with the llama (and loves chatting to it 🦙💬), and this experience has been a huge confidence boost.
He now attends independently, engages with staff and fellow volunteers, and even supports new volunteers by showing them the ropes.
A wonderful example of growth, connection, and community 💚

Today was all about strategy, focus, and having fun together. Our service users showed off their problem-solving skills, patience, and personal strengths while enjoying every move on the chessboard.

We’re proud to share some great news from Twyford Care Group!

We have expanded our Mental Health Support Team with five new team members, strengthening the care and support we provide across our services. Even more exciting, three of our new colleagues are stepping into a new career pathway in mental health, developing their skills and growing their expertise to better support those we care for.

This expansion reflects our continued commitment to investing in people, professional development, and high-quality mental health support.

Creativity & Kindness in Action!

At Twyford Care Group, we’re constantly inspired by the compassion and creativity of our wonderful service users.

One of our service users has been using their incredible crochet skills to make adorable handmade teddies for fellow service users — each one stitched with love & accompanied by a few kind, uplifting words.
