Music Makes Me - Space available Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am-2.30pm

We have a rare opportunity for someone to join our Music Makes Me group on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. Music Makes Me is a music and movement workshop tailored for adults with learning and physical disabilities at JDT Music Academy in Dereham, Norfolk.

What is Music Makes Me?
The program aims to unlock participants' potential through the invigorating and inspiring power of music, fostering connections, emotional exploration, and self-expression. Taking advantage of the warm, safe and welcoming environment at JDT Music Academy, sessions are designed to help participants feel comfortable and confident enough to explore their creativity through music, singing and dancing.

Who is it for?
The workshop is designed for up to 10 adults with learning difficulties and physical disabilities and their support staff where required.

JDT Music Academy is a registered Day Service Provider for Norfolk County Council and can accept commissioned placements. Contact us now if you'd like more information or to join us for a trial session!

Our Inclusive Music Sessions offer a calm, dedicated sensory space where children can explore, create, and express themselves through music in their own way.

With a wide range of instruments and child-led exploration, sessions are carefully tailored to suit each child’s individual needs. Music becomes a tool for communication, confidence, emotional regulation, social connection, and sensory discovery.

Delivered by experienced SEND music specialists with a deep understanding of sensory needs, these sessions are suitable for all ages.

The RockavoX Community Rock Choir are on the road again in March. They'll be stopping by Friends of All Saints in Necton for an afternoon of feel-good rock and pop favourites. The choir will hit the stage at 3pm on Sunday the 8th!
