Clocks go forward for Spring

It's that time of year again when the clocks go forward to mark Spring, so we lose an hour on Sunday and going forward.

If necessary get support from family to change clocks, especially if out of reach to maintain your safety and minimise risk of falls.

Thank you! 👏We look forward to working with you all this year✊

Thank you! 👏

We look forward to working with you all this year✊

Each year, the Chamber President selects a charity, providing an opportunity for the business community to come together in support of an important cause while gathering for one of the North West’s key business events.

This year our President Steven Lindsay has selected the DEEDS Project (Dementia: Engaging and Empowering Derry & Strabane).

DEEDS works to improve the lives of people living with dementia, as well as their families and carers, by building a more inclusive, supportive and dementia-aware community across the North West.

Through awareness training, community activities, volunteer development and carer support programmes, the project is helping local organisations, businesses and communities better understand and support those affected by dementia.

By strengthening partnerships across the city and district, DEEDS is playing an important role in ensuring that public spaces, services and workplaces are welcoming and accessible for everyone.

We look forward to highlighting and supporting this important work at the President’s Annual Lunch next Thursday in the Millennium Forum Theatre & Conference Centre.

🌈🎉APPRECIATION

Thank you to Naiomi McLaughlin, Tommy Carlin and many more of their close friends and family who braved the cold waters of Buncrana in December to help raise funds for a number of local charities including ours & our amazing DEEDS - Dementia Engaged and Empowered in Derry & Strabane Project✊

👀Look out for their next dip in 2026 where they hope to have more people involved and raise an even greater amount for local charities across Derry.😜👏👏👏

🙏APPRECIATION

Everyone associated with the Old Library Trust would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the family of our late Chairperson, Charlie O Donnell for their incredibly generous donation to the organisation following the charity night held in his memory.🌈☀️

Your kindness and support mean so much to us, and it was truly special for everyone to come together at the Don Bar to celebrate his life and the lasting impact he had on our community.

His dedication and spirit will always remain part of everything we do.✊🙏
