Sometimes we find ourselves in situations we would rather not be in. The rational thing to do would be to get out of that situation, however sometimes this isnt possible.

So in a world where we are constantly told to take back control of what we are doing, to take control of our thoughts and our situations and change what we dont like, what can we do when we cant change the situation?

The only thing we can do is control what we are able to control. If we cannot change the situation, if we cannot change the environment, if we cannot change what's happening around us we can change how we act and react to these situations.

Change the way we think of these situations, look for the positives, look for what we can do to change how we feel, look at what possibilities are available, look to the future and how you would like that to be and then ask yourself..... what can I do right now to help make that a reality? .... What steps can I take with the resources and the knowledge I currently have that will put me on and keep me on the path to where I want to be.

Remember as Wayne Dyer said.... When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

The best way to predict the future is to create it. There is a lot of uncertainty around this current situation and people are also concerned about their future. The best way to remove that uncertainty is to take control of your future. Plan what you want your life to look like after this current period. What would you like to be doing, where would you like to be in all areas of your life. Write this plan in detail, visualise it..... and then plan each day what you can do daily that will help you fulfil that plan.

Nothing has any meaning except the meaning we give it (Tony Robbins).

Something that we believe gives us anxiety, to others could be the most relaxing thing ever. Something that causes fear within us could exhilarate and excite others. Something that causes us to feel negative and lacking could be a thing of opportunity to others.

When we realise that within every negativity there lies the seed of an equal or greater benefit then we can begin to change the information we allow into our minds. Then we can begin to change our beliefs which in turn changes our actions and therefore our results.

So as Wayne Dyer said: when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

In this current challenging time, in order to rise to the challenge, learn from it master it and thrive in the future as what is the lesson you can learn from this, the learning if which will put you in a stronger position to thrive in the future.

Is it that your current lifestyle needs to change?.... Maybe it has taught you that you would thrive better if you were fitter?, more attentive to friends and family?, in a better financial position?, had multiple streams of income?, Didnt smoke?, ate properly?

There will be a lesson in what is happening now, seek out that lesson and learn from it.

💥 When times get a bit tough it's easy to forget how far we have come and the challenges we have faced head on and mastered.

💥 Take time to take a step back, assess where you are and what you have overcome in the past, realise what you did to overcome these issues... what you have learned..... the new skills you learned and what the experience taught you and who you became because of it.

💥 Realise what you can take from those learnings that will help you progress now, what things can you do right now? What plans can you put in place for the future? What can you out in place or learn moving forward to put you in a stronger position?

💥 Now remember what stands you apart from the crowd... remember what makes you awesome...... and do more of it.
