We, the family of the late Jimmy Farren wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent and sad bereavement.
Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and Funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, and sympathy cards. To everyone that helped in anyway and brought food to the wake.
A special word of thanks to Father Sweeney for his spiritual care and support during the wake and for celebrating the Requiem Mass, which was a fitting tribute to Jimmy.
Thank you to readers during the Mass and to Joelene and Martin for their beautiful singing. Also to Sean Mullan the grave digger who prepared Jimmy's final resting place.
Sincere thanks to Seamus, Deborah and staff at McLaughlin Funeral Directors for the professional, caring and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Thank you to Cathals flowers for the flowers.
Thank you to the staff of Peach and Passion for serving up the lovely refreshments after the Mass.
A special word of thanks to all those who cared for Jimmy over the years: Dr Knox, Dr Byrne, the nurses and the staff of Dungiven Medical Practice and to all of the staff of Ward 50 at Altnagelvin hospital who cared so well for Jimmy on his numerous visits over the last few months.
We also want to say a special thanks to Gerald Mullan and the Dungiven bikers and the Roe Riders of Limavady for their amazing convoy to the Chapel for Jimmy.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Jimmys Monthโs Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 14th of March in Saint Patrickโs Church, Dungiven at 6pm.
