Jim Toland passed away peacefully on 11 November 2025 at Altnagelvin hospital. He was the beloved partner of the late Stella Makowski, loving father of Laura, much loved grandfather of Jamie- Louise and Ronan, stepfather of Sean and Niamh, father in law of Gary, dear son of the late Stylie and Bridget, cherished brother of Sadie, Hugh, Ellen, Majella, Michael, Kevin and Catriona and beloved brother-in-law of Bernie, Jay, Pat, Kerry and the late Raymond.

Jim will be reposing at his brother Hugh's home at 20 Strangford Park, Derry BT48 0JW from 11am until 10pm on Thursday and Friday. The funeral will leave from there on Saturday at 9.15am for requiem mass at 10am in St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower.
Interment afterwards in the city cemetery.

Roy Wesley DIVIN, sadly passed away in the Philippines on 30th October 2025.
Beloved son of John and the late Doreen Divin. Precious brother of Alison and the late Bridget and baby Sean. Uncle to Shawn and Luke, brother in law to Lee and dearly loved partner of Mindy.
Sadly missed by his family and friends.

Roy will be reposing at his family home 30 Racecourse Park on Thursday 13th November from 6pm till 9pm

Funeral leaving the home on Friday at 9.20am to St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill, for requiem mass at 10am

Sammy will be reposing at his family home today, Monday at 4pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.20am to St Columba's church, Longtower for requiem mass at 10am. Interment afterwards in the city cemetery.

The family of Martin Francis 2 Harty Court, would like to express their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised in our recent bereavement.

To all our family, friends and neighbours for their kindness and support through the wake and funeral. We are eternally gratefeul.

To Fr. Gerald Mongan who officiated a beautiful funeral mass.

To Erin Carlin for the beautiful singing and for all those who had a part in making the funeral mass special.

A special thanks To Martin's colleagues Mark who was with Martin on the mountain and Stephen who called to our home to inform us of his passing, we will never forget the help they both did that day for Martin and us his family.

Thanks to the staff and residents (past and present) in white Oaks rehabilitation centre. You gave us so much comfort telling us how our daddy helped so many people over the years.

Thank you to the emergency service, mountain rescue and an Garda for all their help on the day.

Thank you to Sean Carr Funeral Directors for a beautiful, dignified service.

As it is impossible to thank the hundreds of people who came to our home and supported us all at this very difficult time, a mass will be offered up in thanksgiving for your intentions.

Acknowledgment / Month's Mind

Ronald Warren
Died 18th September 2025

The family of the late Ronald Warren would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement. Your kindness, sympathy and present has been a great comfort to us all.

Thank you to all the staff at Clarendon medical and their district nursing team, Northwest Cancer Centre and staff at ward 50 Altnagelvin hospital who cared for Ronald during his short illness.

A special word of thanks to all the staff at the Foyle Hospice for their excellent care and compassion shown to Ronald and us as his family we will be forever grateful for the precious time they enabled us to have with Ronald in his final days.
