With over 30 years of advocacy experience, Lauren is widely recognised for her expertise in clinical negligence and catastrophic injury litigation, particularly cases involving cerebral palsy and acquired brain injury. She is consistently ranked Band 1 for Clinical Negligence by Chambers UK and recommended by The Legal 500.

Lauren was junior counsel for the Claimant in the landmark UK Supreme Court case Montgomery v Lanarkshire Health Board, which reshaped the law on consent by placing patient autonomy and informed decision-making at its centre — principles highly relevant to discussions around 24-hour postural care.
