🌼🐣 Our Easter Egg Appeal is Back 🐣🌼

After the incredible kindness shown during our Christmas Appeal and previous Easter Egg Appeals, we are delighted to be running it once again this year.

Every year, our community comes together to help bring a little happiness to local children, and we are always truly overwhelmed by the generosity and support shown by so many of you.

This year’s donations will be going to the Children’s Ward at Great Western Hospital, Swindon, helping make Easter extra special for young patients and their families.

If you are able to donate an Easter egg or sweet treat, we would be incredibly grateful.

Our office will be closed from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th December.

However, please be reassured that we are always here for you.
If you need us during the festive period — day or night — Ashley, Paul and the team are available 24/7, just as we always are.

We understand that loss doesn’t pause for Christmas, and during what can be an emotional and difficult time, you are never alone. As your local, independent, family funeral directors, we are here to offer quiet guidance, care and support whenever you need us.

As we drop these Christmas gifts off to the Bright Futures Children’s Ward at Great Western Hospital, we are truly humbled by the kindness shown by our community. The generosity we’ve received this year has been overwhelming, and every single donation has been given with love and compassion at its heart. We cannot thank our community and supporters enough for coming together to help bring comfort, smiles, and a little Christmas magic to children and families during what can be a very difficult time. A heartfelt thank you to Sixpenny Nursery for their continued support this year, as always, and our sincere thanks to Darren from RMS for helping transport the gifts safely to the hospital, and to Trev Williams for his van to help transport the gifts . Acts of kindness like these remind us just how powerful community spirit truly is.

Remembrance Sunday

This year marks 80 years since the end of the Second World War — a conflict that changed the world forever.

Today, we pause to remember every man, woman, and child whose lives were touched by war.
Those who fought bravely, those who worked tirelessly at home, and those who never returned.

Their courage, sacrifice, and love for their country continue to inspire us, generation after generation.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Today, on VE Day, we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served—and gave so much—for our freedom.

As funeral directors, remembrance is at the heart of what we do. Each year on Remembrance Day, we stand alongside our local communities to ensure that the legacy of the fallen is never forgotten.

We will remember them.

We had the absolute honour of dropping off over 300 Easter eggs to Brighter Futures at Great Western Hospital today, ready to be shared with children and families going through incredibly tough times.

This amazing result wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our incredible community. We’re truly grateful to the local advisers, businesses, and especially the dedicated childminders who came together and backed this appeal with such generosity and heart.

Your kindness hasn’t gone unnoticed. Every single egg will help bring a smile to someone who needs it — and that’s all thanks to you.

🐰✨ Our Easter Egg Appeal is Back! ✨🐰

After the incredible success of our Christmas toy appeal, we are thrilled to announce the return of our Easter Egg Appeal! This year, we are collecting Easter eggs and sweet treats for the children spending Easter in the Children’s Ward at Great Western Hospital, Swindon.

For many of these children, Easter won’t include egg hunts or family celebrations at home. With your support, we can bring them a little joy and brighten their day with a small treat.

🍫 How You Can Help:
We are accepting donations of Easter eggs, Cadbury’s Creme Eggs, and even vegan or gluten-free treats. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference!
