Handpinched mugs.

I kept meaning to make more, but everytime I tried, they failed. So I've stepped back and spent time on different pots instead.

Maybe I'll come back to these another day. Would you like to see more of them and....

should I add gold lustre to these four?? ✨️

I had an idea for this reel a few weeks ago as people often ask me how much time I manage to spend on pottery each week and half term can be up and down.

Extra childcare from family can mean more time in the studio but time off work with the kids means no studio time.

We have a two week autumn half term, so let me know if you'd like me to share how next week goes...!

I don't know about you but I always think that festive shopping is best started in autumn and although my website and etsy are open 24/7 I know that lots of you want to hold ceramics before committing to buying them.

That is why I will be at a few markets over the festive period, across south Devon to make it easy for you to come and see my pots in person.

There will probably be some other opportunities to buy my pots in person but these are the events at which you will find me with my pots!

I'd love to know which one you'll be at. I can't wait to meet some new customers but it's always lovely seeing those of you that follow me on here too.

I NEED YOUR HELP!

I have some butter dishes to glaze and need to know which glazes to use...

Splatter, blue (never done a blue one) or something different??

Please comment below with the colour you like best or want to see. I've included a couple of pics featuring my different glazes - the pale turquoise or the deeper sea green have both graced butter dishes before.

A few bits from September, the month where I refound my potting mojo and enthusiasm.

I'm bursting to get back into the studio and have so much I want to make, I will share my upcoming makes with you.

The final image is definitely not pottery related, but put a big smile on my face!

Really finding a groove with market stall set ups. A couple of new slabs of wood was all it took to shake things up.

Excited to get making more things over the coming weeks ready for my next market at on 14th November!!

Hello! After an unintentional break I'm easing myself back into Instagram.

Had a lovely few weeks of not really being on my phone, including failing to take many photos but here are a few snapshots including....

☀️lots of family time, usually with a sea view
☀️not enough studio time, but making the most of it when there
☀️celebrated reading more books than previous years (53 books down this year) with a haul at
☀️a trip to ikea to help me organise my potting tools
☀️all of the beach days, come rain or shine!

What have you been up to this summer? The holidays flew past and this year I found myself gutted when they came to and end, I wanted more time with my crew.

Now to try and settle back into a routine again. Happy Thursday 🩷
