Last month my dog spent 5 hours on a drip at the vets after eating human faeces out on a walk. I have just had to scream at him to drop a huge lump of human faeces (thankfully he did drop it).

Now, I understand people can get 'caught short' however PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bag it up and take it with you. If you don't have a poo bags to hand, use a stick to bury it. As we know, human faeces 'can be' very toxic for dogs depending on what ingredients were digested or what drugs have been taken.

Emma had a session at Sensory Dogs in Plympton today. Taking her totally out of her comfort zone; no Clive, Amy or Roy and no agility (all of which give her wings). Considering she isn't a confident girl at all, she did really well exploring in a completely foreign environment 🧡 Amy's turn next!

It's Clive's 9th birthday today 🥳
It's a miracle this crazy ass has made it to 9!!
He has had more stitches in him than a sewing machine & more staples than a stationary shop. He has had 1 very very near death experience & very almost lost the sight in 1 eye. He has kept South Moor Vets in the lap of luxury & his insurance company hate him.
Despite all the tears & anguish he has caused us, Carl & I can't imagine life without him.
His eager to please is outstanding & his love for life is deafening. He lives each day like it is his last ... we all need to live life like Clive.

Sunday (15th) marked 12 months of Roy coming to live with us at the young age of 4.5 months old.
What has he learnt in the past 12 months; breaking a tiny bone in his toe isn't such a good idea, eating human 💩 results in 6 hours at the vets on a drip, how to lick from a pint glass off the work surface in the kitchen without spilling a drop, to behave around Clive, be kind to Emma, ignore Amy, every dog WILL be his friend eventually whether they like it or not, to give kisses, give hugs, do forward rolls & agility.

What have we have learnt; not to leave him in the kitchen unattended, we need eyes at the back of our heads, he is too damn smart for his own good, he has a weird fish allergy, we need to be patient, he has without a doubt been the hardest dog we've had (so far), he actually might make a descent agility dog (not as good as Emma), he is the loudest Vizsla ever, he is loveable, d***y, funny & 1 of the best things we have ever done is welcoming him into our home 12 months ago.
So Roy aka Royston aka Floppy C**k (& many many more aka's) keeping being you but a tad quieter 🧡
