Oidhche Bhlas Burns! Happy Burns Night and huge thanks to Clare Goodall - Storyteller and Musician for coming and giving us tales of Rabbie Burns, reciting his poetry and singing his famous songs. Our Scottish residents had a fabulous time and so did the rest of us. A taste of Scotland this afternoon, a taste of haggis, a wee dram of whisky and shortbread for those with a sweeter tooth. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

Our weekly trips have well and truly started this year. As we braved the cold wind and warmed up in Root One Garden Centre yesterday. Beautiful flowers, warm cups of tea and a browse around the shops. A lovley afternoon of reminiscing for Betty. She worked there many years ago with her husband. She has lovely memories and said it was a wonderful place to work.
