Liam Hayward TLC was at Spider Project CIC today for the Burns Day celebrations, and was treated a fantastic on theme lunch of
Haggis, neeps & tatties, which were prepared and cooked by volunteer - and one of TLC's participants, Terri-Ann

Accompanying the food, was some beautiful poetry, songs and flowing conversations. Sadly, Liam, didn't have his clan’s tartan available to wear, so had to make do representing Clan TLC with the lanyard! 💜🩷💜

After a successful 3-week pilot at the end of 2025, we're excited to officially launch our MMA project at with coach

What you need to know:

✅ ALL abilities welcome - never trained before? No problem!

✅ Safe environment with skilled trainers

Learn new skills, get fit, and meet like-minded people. Bring a mate along - all you need is yourself and the motivation to try something new.

JobsPlus Toxteth had an amazing turnout last week at our latest Sizzle & Support: Warm Winter Welcome event! It was fantastic to meet so many new families from the community who weren’t aware of the support available in Liverpool 8.

As well as making sure everyone enjoyed some hot food and a warm drink, we connected families to job opportunities, wellbeing support from Wellbeing Enterprises and The Imaginarium, and shared dental hygiene resources from Koala NorthWest.

As the song says, “The weather outside is frightful,” but the atmosphere was incredible. Thank you to everyone in the community for supporting the hub, and congratulations to all our prize winners on the day!

Today is - encouraging those most unlikely to speak up about their mental health.

Here are some activities and Men's groups across the city -

🗣️ Every Monday from 1 – 2 PM | Garston Children’s Centre, 70 Banks Road, L19 8JZ
The group is aimed at men within the south of Liverpool, giving them a chance to talk and socialise with each other discussing their worries if needed, or even just a chance to pop in for a chat with other like-minded men.

The session is a drop in with no need to book.

Liam Hayward TLC had a brilliant day on Friday, at the Ethnic Minorities Community Event hosted by Family Hub at Wirral Change Work & Jobs Club. The event had such a warm energy, saw plenty of families in attendance and a phenomenal lunch buffet was provided to visitors which was very kind. Thank you for your hospitality and warmth today and for a brilliantly organised event we really enjoyed it

Get Started (GS) in Eco Fashion

This is an engaging, week-long creative training programme designed to help young people gain practical skills, build confidence, and explore monetising their creations.

What you'll learn:
Creative Skills: Sewing, upcycling garments, furniture artistry, and jewellery making (from plastic waste).
Design & Technique: Using a sewing machine, mastering seams/finishes, and creating digital transfers.
Business Basics (Optional): Developing a simple business outline to sell creations on social media.
Personal Growth: Developing confidence, assertiveness, and communication skills.

Course Details:
Dates: Monday, October 27th to Friday, October 31st
Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily
Support: Lunch is provided daily, and assistance with travel costs may be available if needed.
