It's been a busy week here at First Prime HQ!
We have welcomed 2 new carers onto the team who began their training on Thursday. We have also taken on 3 new service users. Claudia and Sukie have been busy with the assessments for these!
Extra fluids are being offered at the visits as the lovely weather means everyone needs extra hydration, including our amazing carers 😃

We got some wonderful feedback this week from the family of a service user. This is why we all do the job we do and a lot of our packages come to us from recommendations! A massive well done to all of our team.

I wanted to share some new feedback, and to thank you for your help the other day on the phone, regarding the challenge ### is facing with hospital transport for urgent appointments.

Firstly to say that ### is incredibly happy with the level of care provided, in particular her personal care and that she feels listened to.

Whilst all careers are good, ### has noticed in particular, Beth, both Lauras, Matt, Anthony, Kenny, Claudia and David have had a strong positive impact on her and have stood out to her as being proactive in making use of the full time, actively listening to ### and her needs and ensuring they're met to a high standard. I've personally found Laura M has been extremely helpful, even offering to help me finish general household chores and taking initiative when ### requests are finished. This has been a huge blessing as I struggle to look after the house alongside my other responsibilities.

The office staff have also been extremely helpful and supportive which has made a huge difference to ### trust in care agencies as a whole, as well as making her feel confident that First Prime Care are the best carers she's ever had, in all 20 years of receiving care.
I'd like to emphasise that our overall view of First Prime Care is extremely positive, far surpassing experience with previous care agencies and our expectations.

This week we got lovely feedback from a family through a social worker, so proud of our team!

Do you have any worries or concerns?

No none at all.



Is there anything that could be improved?

Would be better if carers both arrived at the same time. Understand this may not always be possible.



Do you have regular carers at regular times?

I think they have all now visited Mum and have settled into a consistent team.



Do you have any feedback, good or bad?

Only good feedback.

All the carers are of a very good standard unlike previous care agencies.

They are very professional, consistent in the high level of care and compassion they give my Mum.

My Dad often comments on the care they provide and communication he has with them.

They are friendly and take time to enquire if there is anything further they can do during the visits.



I will also be contacting First Prime, please do not hesitate to contact me if you require anything further.

We have recently completed one of their surveys with either good or outstanding answers.

Their Birdie system is good for keeping track of visits and what their findings were or the care provided during each visit.



We highly recommend First Prime.

We are currently looking carers to cover evening and weekend shifts specifically.

We offer an hourly rate of £13 per hour and also pay for travel time at the hourly rate plus 35p per mile.

No experience is needed as we offer full training.

DBS required is paid for by First Prime Care.

This is our lovely Sukie.

She started with us in April 2023 as a Carer she worked her way up to being a Senior Carer and has just been promoted to Care Supervisor.

Sukie is a keen singer and Morris dancer.
