Hi Reiki friends! I have a number of exciting things to announce, but rather than do them all at once, I'll try to write a post a day for the next few days (something I often have a hard time keeping up with).

The first exciting thing is that I am participating in the upcoming Reiki Rays Healing Summit for the first time. For those unfamiliar with this event, it is a five-day series of conversations about Reiki with many of the world's leading figures, which you can access for free during the event.

My talk will be available for 24 hours on the first day of the event, Friday, November 7, alongside talks by other friends and colleagues discussing Reiki's roots. I have to say that I had an amazing conversation with the moderator, Yolanda Williams, aka The Energetic Alchemist. I'm looking forward to watching everyone else's talks as well!

I will put the links for the free registration (as well as the paid option, if you want to purchase lifetime access to all of the talks from the Summit) in the comments below.

We’re offering a new Zoom gathering on the 23rd October and it's called 'The Importance of Your Choices: How to Step Beyond Old Limitations'.

In it Catherine will be exploring some current energetic themes in greater depth and it will be an opportunity to:

* Explore the important choices you are being offered in the current energy flow.
* Ensure that you are making new life enhancing choices rather than old ones.
* Remember how to step out of the illusion of powerlessness.
* Discuss how essences can help you realign your vibrational frequency so that your new choices can manifest more easily.
* Join a heart meditation to help realign any fragments of you that are still stuck in old patterns.

Crystals complement and enhance a Reiki treatment. When giving Reiki for anxiety & stress, Lepidolite can be placed directly on the third eye chakra (between the eyebrows). A crystal grid with Lepidolite, White Howlite and Sodalite in my Reiki space supports self-healing with energies which balance & calm emotions and reduce stress & anxiety.

I use lavender essential oil to help promote a relaxed, meditative state during Reiki or a blend of essential oils targeting a particular chakra. I often use the solar plexus blend to fragrance the room for clients who come for Reiki to alleviate anxiety or stress.
