Healing Sounds by Gabriel
My name is Gabriel and I'm a certified reiki & accredited gong and sound practitioner. I discovered the magical beauty of sounds & music in my childhood. I played in several rock-metal bands in my early twenties. I started my spiritual journey more than 11 years ago by doing Usui Reiki and I have been a Reiki master for 9 years. Soon afterwards I found out about Sound Therapy and all the benefits it provides. My latest journey with sound and gong is to train with Gyorgy Kray and Zsuzsanna Farago of the Gong Academy and become a Elisabeth Dierlich Gong and Sound Massage Practitioner. I offer 1:1 Reiki Sound Massage sessions using Hands, Gongs, Crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowls which are placed on the body and gently toned and sounded. I also offer Group Sound Bath sessions with Gongs, Singing Bowls, Shamanic Drums, Chimes, Tubes, Bells and other sacred instruments collected from my travels around the world. SoonI released my first ambient/atmospheric/eclectic/relaxing style album called Journey of Sounds. Find some tracks on SoundCloud and YouTube. The session may include instruments such as gong, singing bowls, tuning forks, chimes, and other therapeutic sound tools, creating a rich soundscape that supports deep relaxation and energetic realignment.

Together, these modalities create a deeply immersive experience that supports stress relief, emotional release, mental clarity, and overall well-being on physical, emotional, and energetic levels.

Traditional Usui Reiki: Restoring Balance Through Universal Life Energy

Usui Reiki is a gentle yet powerful Japanese energy healing practice that supports relaxation, emotional balance, and overall well-being. By channeling universal life energy, it helps release energetic blockages, calm the nervous system, and activate the body’s natural self-healing abilities.

Each session offers a deeply restorative experience, supporting clarity, inner peace, and renewed vitality on physical, emotional, mental, and energetic levels. Reiki can be especially beneficial during times of stress, emotional overwhelm, fatigue, or when you simply feel the need to reconnect with yourself.

Every session is tailored to your individual needs, creating a safe and nurturing space for deep relaxation, energetic renewal, and personal realignment.

The Rhythms of the Mind: Harnessing Brainwaves for Balance

Our brainwaves play a powerful role in how we think, feel, and experience the world. Throughout most of the day, the brain operates in beta waves (12–30 Hz), a state linked to active concentration, logical thinking, and constant problem-solving. While this is essential for daily life, remaining in high beta for extended periods can leave us feeling overstimulated, tense, and mentally exhausted.

When the brain is given the opportunity to slow down, it naturally shifts into deeper, more restorative states.

The alpha state (8–12 Hz) is the realm of relaxed alertness. It is the brain’s natural resting state, where stress begins to dissolve, thoughts soften, and creativity and efficient learning can emerge with ease.

The theta state (4–8 Hz) is associated with deep meditation and intuition. In this deeply receptive state, the mind accesses the subconscious, often leading to sudden insights and “aha” moments, when complex ideas or solutions arise effortlessly.

Sound and vibration, such as those produced by gongs and singing bowls, support this transition through a process known as brainwave entrainment. Their long, resonant tones and rich layers of overtones gently encourage the brain to synchronize with slower external rhythms, without effort or force. In these states, the nervous system shifts into rest and digest mode, allowing both body and mind to truly rest, restore, and regenerate on a deeper level.

Slowing the brain is not about switching off from life, but about reconnecting with balance, presence, and inner harmony.

How do sounds affect our brainwaves?
Did you know that the sound of a gong can calm a racing mind? 🧠

In our fast-paced everyday lives, the brain usually operates on beta waves. The long-lasting resonance and rich overtones of gongs and singing bowls help slow these brainwaves down. This allows us to shift into alpha, or even deeper theta states, where thoughts begin to fade and our focus gently expands.

In this slowed-down state, we finally create space for true rest and deep inner regeneration.

A sound bath is a collective journey into vibration.
Not something you listen to, something you step into.

When multiple sound instruments share one space, their voices don’t compete, they weave.
Gongs, singing bowls, tongue pan, tubular chimes and shamanic drumming form a living sound architecture around the body.

These vibrations travel beyond hearing.
They touch the nervous system, the breath, the inner rhythm.
Each person experiences the field differently, yet everyone is held by the same resonant space.

The sound bath becomes a temporary ecosystem, constantly shifting, responding, alive.

My role as a sound therapist is to sense this system in real time,
to support balance, guide transitions, and ensure that the vibrational flow remains safe and coherent for all who enter it.

No two sound baths are ever the same.
Because the space, the people, and the moment are never the same.

Tudtad-e, hogy az emberi test több mint 70%-a víz? 🌊
Amikor a gong vagy a hangtál megszólal, a rezgések koncentrikus körökben terjednek szét bennünk, éppen úgy, ahogy a vízbe dobott kavics kelt fodrozódást a tó tükrén.

Sound therapy works through vibration not just through the ears, but through the entire body.

Research shows that certain sound frequencies and rhythmic patterns can support the nervous system by
activating the parasympathetic (rest and digest) response:

• reducing stress and anxiety levels
• slowing heart rate and breathing
• supporting emotional regulation
• improving sleep quality and mental clarity

During a sound bath, the body doesn’t need to do anything.
It responds naturally to vibration and rhythm.

This is why many people report:

• a sense of deep calm
• reduced mental noise
• physical relaxation
• emotional release
• a feeling of being more grounded and present

The environment may remain the same.
The instruments may be familiar.
But the body’s response can be different each time because the nervous system meets the sound from a different place.

Sound therapy is not about performance or effort.
It is about regulation, balance, and allowing the system to settle.

I often hear after a sound bath:
“This felt completely different from the last one.”
The same instruments.
The same space.
And yet, the experience is never repeated.
A sound bath is not simply about listening.

Vibration meets us exactly where we are: in the body, the nervous system, the emotions… or in the stillness.

At times, sound grounds and calms us.
At other times, it brings emotions, images, or quiet realisations.
Outwardly, nothing changes.
Inwardly, much can.

This is why no two sound baths are ever the same.
Each one works precisely where it is needed.
As a sound bath facilitator, I don’t only create an experience.
I hold space.
A space in which sound can reveal
where you are in this moment.
When we allow things to be as they are, the pressure falls away.

There is no need to “feel good”.
It is enough to be present and to let unfold
whatever is ready to arise.

In January, there is one more opportunity to join the New Year opening sound baths,
so we may step into the year supported by the most nourishing vibrations.

The event is on Friday 23rd January from 6pm

You don’t have to feel “good” to receive sound healing 🎶

Sound therapy isn’t only for moments of calm and balance.
It’s also for the days when you feel tired, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply not yourself.

You don’t need to be relaxed already.
You don’t need to be in a “high vibration.”
You don’t need to have the right words.

Sound meets you exactly where you are.

Whether you’re feeling stressed, emotionally heavy, mentally busy, or physically tense, sound works gently with your nervous system and energy, supporting release, regulation, and restoration.

Sound healing is not about fixing.
It’s about allowing space for your system to reset, naturally.

Come as you are.
That is more than enough 🙏
