We are recruiting a part time cook for 3 days a week. Hours are 7:30-17:30 (weekdays/weekends) We require some flexibilty on hours to cover annual leave, when requested. Working alongside our experienced care staff you will be assisting the residents with their daily needs such as personal hygiene, toileting, assistance at mealtimes and fluid intake.
Previous experience as a care assistant is desirable however applicants with no experience may be considered as a full induction and training will be provided.

Working time
33 hours per week, day shift. Shifts to be discussed at interview.

Duties will include:
- Ordering of food/stock supplies
- Preparation of meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and snacks
- Creating seasonal set menu plans
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Maintaining kitchen documentation
Experience as a cook or a chef in a care home setting would be advantageous but it is not necessary as a full induction will be provided.
Work Times:
4/5 days per week, 08:00 – 17:15, weekdays/weekends.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for the preparation of meals and snacks for the residents.

2/3 days per week, 07:00 – 17:15, weekdays/weekends. (Start time may be negotiable/flexible). You may, on occasion, be requested to work additional hours to cover annual leave.

You will be responsible for the delivery of domestic services within the home and ensuring a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors and staff.

Qualifications/Experience
Previous experience as a domestic/housekeeper and knowledge of COSSH and Infection Control is desirable however all necessary training will be provided.
