What a great night!
A few of the lads from our men-only social group had a little get together before the festive holidays.

It’s been amazing to see how this group has grown forming new friendships, building confidence, and opening up new opportunities along the way.

This is exactly what the group is about: no pressure, good company, and support when it’s needed. 💙

5pm – 7:30pm | Free to attend | No pressure, just a brew & a chat

Our men-only social group is on this evening, offering a relaxed space for guys to unwind, talk (if you want to), and enjoy some company. There’s no pressure to speak, no uncomfortable group introductions, just a friendly, informal place to be yourself.

☕ What’s happening tonight?
• Our usual chilled evening and general chit-chat
• A bit of podcasting for anyone who fancies taking part
• Music recording & production session
• Bring along an instrument if you play or jump on the mic if you fancy yourself as a singer!
Free to just walk in

Whether you want support with your mental health or just a relaxed night with good people, you’re more than welcome.

Mick is our resident Mental health first aider and mental health community connector on hand to offer support if required.

✨🎉 What an amazing night! 🎉✨

A huge thank you to all our incredible staff and volunteers, 22 joined us for our christmas works do, it was fantastic spending the evening together, laughing, celebrating, and reflecting on everything we’ve achieved this year 💛

Sew Mindful Crafts wouldn’t be what it is today without each and every one of you. The time, care, passion, and heart you put into our community truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our Sew Mindful family. 💕

What a lovely Morning we’ve had today 🧵💛

Huge thank you to the amazing group of ladies who joined us for the sewing workshop today, not only did they bring laughter, creativity and good vibes, but they also brought cakes, crisps and treats to share with everyone 🍰🥨💕

It’s moments like these that remind us that Sew Mindful Crafts isn’t just about learning new skills, it’s about community, kindness and connection.

Overlocker Workshop This Monday, 2pm–5pm

Fancy getting confident with an overlocker? This is your chance! We’ve got just TWO spaces remaining for our hands-on workshop this Monday.

In this friendly, practical session you’ll learn how to:

🧵 Set up and thread an overlocker
⚙️ Adjust stitch width & length
🔁 Use differential feed correctly
🧶 Master 4-thread & 3-thread techniques
✨ Create rolled hems & gathers
👗 Work with stretchy, sheer & textured fabrics

By the end of the workshop, you’ll feel completely at ease using a Brother overlocker, ready to take your sewing to the next level.

Tonight was a brilliant mix of guys playing guitars, to a good old chin-wag over a brew.
It’s exactly what these sessions are all about, relaxing, chatting, and enjoying time with like-minded blokes.
