I am registered and insured with the Federation of Holistic Therapists. I do full body or partial massage depending on individual needs. I offer massage:

Sports massage - has its base in the recovery of an Injury, in the rehabilitation of the client’s injury and in preventing injury at the outset of physical work whether by a sporting or lifestyle activity. Sports massage may be explained as the skilled, manual, therapeutic application of soft tissue remedial techniques that are selected and performed after careful consultation, recording of medical history and appropriate general and specific assessment. Relaxing - characterized by slow and gentle movements aimed at relaxing and calming the body;

Therapeutic - using techniques with increased pressure to reduce muscle tension and pain relief. Indian Head Massage [IHM] - relaxing massage of the muscles of the head, neck and shoulders

Deep Tissue Massage - the purpose of the massage is to change the structure and limitations of muscle mobility by relaxing and lengthening them. The effect is to reduce pain, restore better posture, and increase flexibility and smoothness of movement. Candling [Hopi Ear Candle]

Why not try HOT STONE MASSAGE?

During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body. The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat.

Hot stone massage offers a unique combination of heat therapy and hands-on massage techniques, resulting in a host of physical, emotional, and practical benefits.

1️⃣ Physical Benefits
✅Eases Muscle Tension: The heat from the stones relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist to work more effectively on areas of tightness or discomfort.
✅Improves Circulation: Warm stones help dilate blood vessels, enhancing oxygen and nutrient delivery to tissues.
✅Relieves Pain: It is particularly beneficial for chronic pain conditions like arthritis, lower back pain, or fibromyalgia.

2️⃣ Emotional Benefits
✅Reduces Stress: The gentle warmth and rhythmic movements have a calming effect, helping to lower stress hormone levels.
✅Boosts Mood: Many clients report feeling more balanced, centred, and emotionally refreshed after a session.

3️⃣ Practical Benefits
✅Enhanced Mobility: Regular sessions can improve flexibility, making it easier to move through your day without stiffness.
✅Prepares You for Rest: This treatment is excellent for promoting deeper sleep by relaxing both mind and body.
