Take note if visiting Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust 👇🏻

For anyone visiting Doncaster Royal Infirmary in the coming weeks, please allow a little extra time to get to your appointment, as some minor disruption is expected due to works being carried out on site.

If arriving by bus: The gated entrance from Thorne Road near the Brew Box has been temporarily closed. Please use Gate 2 (stepped access), Gate 3 (near the Emergency Department), or Gate 1A (off Thorne Road to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital).

If arriving by car: The road from Gate 1 (near the Brew Box) leading to Park Hill Hospital and the Chatsfield Suite will remain open, but there may be occasional delays due to the delivery of infrastructure. The back road outside the South Block entrance remains closed to through traffic until the new Department of Critical Care building is completed (Winter 2026).

Thank you for your patience as our hospital sites are redeveloped to create improved care environments for our communities.
