Today TeamKT were supporting Crohn's & Colitis UK. Our amazing Lisa completely spoilt us with her delicious bakes 🧁 along with some other yummy treats from the team. David’s homemade sausage rolls were definitely a hit 😋

As part of our commitment to make TeamKT a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone, we are proud to share that we have achieved Gold Pride in Practice accreditation.

We are the first practice in South Yorkshire to achieve this!

Thank you to Andrew at LGBT Foundation and Healthwatch Doncaster for supporting us through this process and continuing to support the practice and patients.

This accreditation is not the finish line, together as a team will continue to build on this achievement.

To everybody,

We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to write down your thoughts and memories of Martyn, as so many of you have done. We have read every single one.

To know that he is remembered with such fondness by so many people has touched us deeply, and is testament to the man he was.

We have loved hearing the stories of his kindness and warmth, of his capacity to encourage and uplift, of his life-long going the extra mile, and his many, many funny moments - all of which, I know, he would be proud to be remembered.

💚 World Mental Health Day — A Message of Thanks to Team KT 💚

Today, we want to take a moment to recognise and thank Team KT for their resilience, compassion, and dedication.

While the majority of our patients are polite, respectful and understanding of the pressures faced in general practice, there is sadly a minority who are not.

Our Care Navigators, who follow the guidance of our clinicians, encounter challenging situations daily—sometimes hourly. Our clinicians often experience the same.

We are here to support and care for all our patients, and we strive to do our very best.
But we are also human beings with feelings and emotions, and at times, the pressure can take its toll on any of us.

We kindly ask:

Please don’t swear at us
Please don’t shout at us
Please don’t threaten us

Our mental health is just as important as that of the patients we care for.
