Two more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews this week and honestly… this is exactly why we do what we do.
Families often arrive to us exhausted.
They’ve been worrying for years.
They’ve been told to “wait and see”.
They’ve felt dismissed or unheard.
What matters most to us is that from the moment you walk through our door (or join the video call) you feel comfortable, safe and understood.
One parent told us their daughter loved the appointment so much she didn’t want to leave — and another said they finally felt listened to after years of struggling with school support.
That isn’t accidental.
Our assessments are:
• Calm and child-friendly
• Conversational rather than interrogative
• Thorough and NICE-guideline aligned
• Focused on understanding, not labelling
We take time to build rapport, explain everything clearly, and make sure both parents and young people know what is happening and why. We know how scary assessments can feel — especially when a child is anxious or masking — so we meet them at their level, whether that’s talking about Roblox, school worries, friendships, or how their brain works.
You are not rushed.
You are not “just another appointment”.
You are not just a form and a checklist.
And importantly — if we don’t think ADHD is present, we will tell you and help you understand what else might be going on instead. Our job is to get you on the right path, not just give a diagnosis.
