Two more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews this week and honestly… this is exactly why we do what we do.

Families often arrive to us exhausted.
They’ve been worrying for years.
They’ve been told to “wait and see”.
They’ve felt dismissed or unheard.

What matters most to us is that from the moment you walk through our door (or join the video call) you feel comfortable, safe and understood.

One parent told us their daughter loved the appointment so much she didn’t want to leave — and another said they finally felt listened to after years of struggling with school support.

That isn’t accidental.

Our assessments are:
• Calm and child-friendly
• Conversational rather than interrogative
• Thorough and NICE-guideline aligned
• Focused on understanding, not labelling

We take time to build rapport, explain everything clearly, and make sure both parents and young people know what is happening and why. We know how scary assessments can feel — especially when a child is anxious or masking — so we meet them at their level, whether that’s talking about Roblox, school worries, friendships, or how their brain works.

You are not rushed.
You are not “just another appointment”.
You are not just a form and a checklist.

And importantly — if we don’t think ADHD is present, we will tell you and help you understand what else might be going on instead. Our job is to get you on the right path, not just give a diagnosis.

✔ Full diagnostic report
✔ Accepted by schools, GPs and NHS services
✔ Post-diagnosis guidance and support
✔ Medication pathway & shared care once stable
✔ Occupational therapy support available

If you’ve been wondering whether to book, or just want to talk it through first, you can message us — we will happily explain the process before you spend anything.

Appointments are limited and often fill quickly.

Another 5⭐ review just in…

We often say an ADHD assessment isn’t just about a diagnosis — it’s about clarity, reassurance, and finally understanding why things have felt so difficult for so long. This feedback captures that perfectly.

From the very first contact, our aim is simple:
you should feel listened to, not judged… understood, not rushed… and confident in the outcome.

Our assessments are:
• NICE-guideline compliant
• CQC registered
• Conducted by experienced clinicians
• Supported with a detailed clinical report
• Accepted by schools, employers and NHS services locally

We don’t just hand you a label and send you away either. After assessment we guide you through next steps, support options, and — where appropriate — medication pathways and shared care with your GP once stable.

If you’ve been unsure whether to reach out, this is your sign.

You can start with a free screening questionnaire first — no pressure and no obligation. If ADHD isn’t likely, we will tell you honestly and help point you in the right direction.

📞 Speak directly to the clinician today

We know booking an ADHD assessment can feel like a huge step.
Parents worry about making the wrong decision… adults worry they won’t be taken seriously… and a lot of people just want to understand what actually happens.

So today we’re doing something a bit different.

Frank (our lead assessing clinician) will personally be on the phone between 1:00pm – 3:00pm today to answer questions, explain the process, and help you decide whether an assessment is even the right thing for you or your child.

No pressure.
No obligation to book.
Just honest advice from the person who actually carries out the assessments.

You can ask about:
• what the assessment involves
• whether your symptoms sound like ADHD
• schools, work or GP acceptance
• medication pathways
• what happens if it isn’t ADHD

We don’t do this often because clinic time is usually full — so this is a bit of a rare opportunity to talk things through properly before spending any money.

📩 Message the page and we’ll send you the number / arrange a call slot.

Sometimes a 10-minute conversation is all it takes to finally make sense of things.

Another couple of lovely reviews came in today and honestly… these are the ones that matter to us most ❤️

Families don’t come to us because it’s convenient.
They come because they’ve been worried for months (sometimes years), school are unsure, work is falling apart, confidence is low, and they just want someone to actually listen.

What people often expect is a cold clinical interrogation.

What they actually get is a proper conversation, understanding, and a clear answer — even if that answer isn’t ADHD.

We don’t push assessments.
We don’t diagnose everyone.
We start with a free screener, we offer a low-cost consultation if needed, and only recommend a full assessment when the evidence is there and appropriate under NICE guidance.

Our full assessments include:

• Detailed developmental history
• Parent / family input
• School or third-party information
• Structured diagnostic tools
• Clinical formulation (not just a checklist)
• A comprehensive written report schools and GPs can use

We’re a CQC-registered service and our reports are regularly accepted by schools, CAMHS and GPs.
And importantly — if it isn’t ADHD, we won’t leave you stuck.

We explain what else may be going on and point you in the right direction.

We know private care is a big decision, which is why we also offer payment plans and staged options so families aren’t forced into spending £595 straight away.

If you just want reassurance before booking, message us.

No pressure — we will genuinely tell you honestly whether we think an assessment is worth it.

Our Ethical, Stepped Approach to ADHD Assessment

We understand that pursuing an ADHD assessment can feel daunting — emotionally and financially. That’s why our service is built around a stepped, ethical approach, allowing families and adults to access the right level of support at the right time, without unnecessary cost or pressure.

Step 1: Free ADHD Screening (DSM-based)
We offer a free screening tool aligned with DSM diagnostic criteria. This helps you explore whether ADHD traits may be present before committing to anything further. If the screening doesn’t suggest ADHD, we will tell you — we don’t encourage unnecessary assessments.

Step 2: £5 School SNAP (Optional)
If you’re unsure whether school will recognise ADHD traits, we offer a School SNAP questionnaire for £5. This allows you to check whether school observations align with ADHD before progressing, helping you avoid spending hundreds of pounds if school evidence isn’t there yet.

Step 3: £95 Clinical Consultation (Optional)
For those needing more clarity, we offer a £95 face-to-face consultation with a clinician trained in NICE ADHD guidelines. This appointment explores presentation in depth and considers alternative explanations such as trauma, anxiety, ASD, OCD, or other mental health conditions.
You’ll receive clear, honest advice about whether a full assessment is appropriate — or whether a different pathway would be more helpful.

Step 4: Full ADHD Assessment (£595)
Our full assessment uses a multidisciplinary approach, drawing on:

Clinical interview

Developmental history

Collateral information (family, school, others)

Recognised diagnostic tools

MDT discussion to reach a defensible outcome

This approach mirrors NHS standards and ensures ADHD is not being explained by another condition.

Fairness built in
If you’ve already paid for the £5 School SNAP or the £95 consultation and later proceed to a full assessment, we deduct that cost from the £595. You don’t pay twice for the same clinical thinking.

Financial compassion
We also offer interest-free payment options, because access to good clinical care shouldn’t depend on whether you can pay everything upfront.

This stepped model is:

Ethical

Transparent

Clinically appropriate

Financially fair

It ensures people are supported — not pushed — and means you genuinely can’t lose by starting with the right step for you.

If you’re unsure where to begin, we’re always happy to talk it through.

⭐️ Another 5-star Trustpilot review ⭐️

Creating a calm, safe space — especially for children — is at the centre of everything we do. ADHD assessments can feel daunting, and hearing that a young person felt so comfortable they didn’t want to leave means the world to us.

This review speaks to what matters most: patience, warmth, genuine care, and taking the time to really connect. When children feel at ease, we get the clearest picture — and families leave feeling reassured rather than overwhelmed.

Thank you to this family for trusting us and for sharing such kind feedback. It’s a privilege to do this work.

If you’re feeling nervous about an assessment or just want to talk things through first, we’re always happy to help 💙

Not sure whether school are seeing ADHD traits — and don’t want to spend a fortune finding out?

That’s exactly why we’ve introduced our School SNAP form, available on our website for £5.

This allows you to:
• ask school to complete a recognised screening questionnaire
• see whether ADHD traits are being observed in the school setting
• avoid paying for a full assessment if the evidence isn’t there

Once completed, the form is screened by experienced clinicians.
If it is clinically indicated that a full ADHD assessment would be appropriate, we’ll advise you of that — and we’ll deduct the £5 from the cost of the full assessment.

If school aren’t seeing ADHD traits, you’ve saved yourself hundreds of pounds and gained clarity about next steps instead of guessing.

It’s a simple, ethical way to:
✔ check before you commit
✔ reduce unnecessary cost
✔ make informed decisions
✔ avoid “assessment first, think later” approaches

Sometimes the most helpful thing isn’t rushing into an assessment — it’s getting the right information first.

💚 “More than an assessment — a turning point.” 💚

Reviews like this genuinely stop us in our tracks.

Being told that someone felt safe, validated, listened to and understood — not rushed, not reduced to a checklist — is exactly why this service exists.

Adult ADHD assessments in particular need time, nuance and clinical judgement, not box-ticking. This review captures what we aim for in every appointment:
• a calm, human space
• clear, balanced explanations
• real clinical expertise
• and support that feels empowering, not overwhelming

If you’re considering an ADHD assessment and you’re nervous, unsure, or worried about being dismissed — please know that our approach is thorough, respectful and centred around you, not just symptoms.

Thank you to this client for trusting us and for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. It means more than you know.

If you’d like to talk things through or want reassurance before booking, you’re always welcome to get in touch. 💬

One thing we think it’s really important to be open about 👇

When people complete our free ADHD screener, we don’t automatically push them into a full assessment. In fact, more often than not, if there isn’t enough evidence at screening stage, we’ll tell you that honestly.

If you choose to book a consultation, we take the time to properly explore what’s going on. Sometimes that does lead to recommending a full ADHD assessment — but just as often, it doesn’t.

Why? Because ADHD cannot be explained by another mental health condition.

Many difficulties that look like ADHD can actually be better explained by things such as:
• trauma / PTSD
• anxiety or OCD
• emotional dysregulation or personality-related difficulties
• autistic traits
• depression or burnout

Part of doing this properly — and ethically — is ruling those things out first, or advising that they’re addressed before an ADHD assessment is considered. If those difficulties are treated and the ADHD-type presentation is still there, that’s when it’s appropriate to come back and reassess.

We’re not here to diagnose for the sake of it.
We’re here to help you understand what’s actually going on and point you in the right direction, even if that means saying ADHD isn’t the answer right now.

That’s how careful, NICE-aligned clinical work should look — and it’s why families trust us.

If you’re unsure, confused, or just want an honest conversation before taking the next step, we’re always happy to talk things through 💙

New blog: Behaviour, Belonging, and Presuming Competence in SEN Teaching — a short, practical read on listening to behaviour as communication and centring presumption of competence in every setting. Read now: https://wix.to/BQYdha5

In every SEN setting — mainstream, nurture, or specialist — there are learners whose behaviour speaks far louder than their words. For some children, spoken language has not yet developed. For others, verbal communication is not their most natural or accessible form of expression. And yet, commu...

⭐️ Two more 5-star Trustpilot reviews this week ⭐️

Feedback like this matters because it reflects what families tell us in real life — that they felt listened to, understood, and supported at a time when things often feel overwhelming.

We work with children, young people, and adults who are anxious, burnt out, unsure, or have been dismissed elsewhere. Our job isn’t to rush, label, or push an agenda — it’s to create a space where people can be themselves, ask questions, and feel safe enough to talk honestly.

If you’re sitting on the fence, feeling unsure, or worrying about whether an assessment is “worth it” — you’re exactly the people we’re happy to speak to. No pressure. No sales talk. Just a proper conversation about whether this is the right next step for you or your family.

📩 Reach out if you need reassurance, clarity, or someone to talk it through with.

Sometimes feeling heard is the first real shift.
