Today is a very special and emotional day at our Day Centre 💙

We’re saying a big Happy Birthday to our lovely Bob 🎂 and at the same time, wishing him a fond farewell as he moves on from our day centre.

Bob, you truly have been one of a kind. You always put a smile on our faces with your warmth, and the wonderful way you light up a room. It has been an absolute pleasure to share so many special moments, laughs, and memories with you. You will be greatly missed by both staff and friends alike.

And as if one celebration wasn’t enough, tomorrow Bob and his wife celebrate their wedding anniversary 💍💐 What a beautiful milestone! We’re sending our biggest congratulations to you both and wishing you a day filled with love and happy memories.

Bob, thank you for being such a special part of our community. We wish you and your wife all the very best for the year ahead.

There’s nothing better than getting creative together, from colouring and painting to sticking, cutting and making something special to take home. Crafting encourages self-expression, sparks memories and gives everyone a real sense of achievement 🖌️😊

What a wonderful day at the centre! 🐍🦨🐹

We were thrilled to welcome Leanimals, who brought along an amazing variety of animals for our clients to see, touch and hold. From a curious snake, to an adorable skunk, and some very cuddly guinea pigs, there was plenty to spark smiles, conversation and memories 💛
Animal visits like this are so special for people living with dementia, the sensory experience, gentle interaction and shared excitement create real moments of joy and connection. The room was full of laughter, curiosity and a few brave cuddles too!
A huge thank you to Leanimals for such a patient, engaging and unforgettable visit. We’re still talking about it 🥰🐾

Sometimes, all it takes is one visit a week to make a world of difference. 🌟

For our clients who feel socially isolated, something as simple as going out for breakfast, sharing a cup of tea (or a latte), or having a friendly chat can brighten their whole week.

It’s not just a visit, it’s connection, companionship, and a reminder that someone cares. ❤️

Even small moments can create big smiles and lasting memories.
