This week we’ve been getting into the Easter spirit with some lovely crafting activities!🎨💛

Crafting is such a wonderful way to encourage self-expression, spark memories, and bring a sense of achievement. 🌼

A little reminder that the Inspire Office is closed today and will reopen on Tuesday @ 9:00am!

At Inspire, we know how much these seasonal changes can lift the mood. More daylight can bring new energy, more opportunities to get outdoors, and more moments to enjoy together, whether it’s a walk in the fresh air, an icecream in the sunshine, or a bit of gardening 💛

Just a quick reminder that the clocks go forward by 1 hour today 🌷

While many of us will adjust quickly, this change can be confusing for some, especially older family members or those living with dementia.

If you can, please take a moment to:
• Help adjust clocks and watches
• Double-check important times (medication, appointments, meals)
• Offer reassurance if someone feels unsettled or confused

A quick call, message, or visit can make all the difference. Let’s look out for each other today 💙

⏰ Clocks Go Forward This Sunday ⏰

A gentle reminder that the clocks will go forward by 1 hour this Sunday. While many of us adjust automatically, this change can be confusing or unsettling for some members of our community, especially older adults and those living with dementia.

💛 How you can help:

Offer to adjust clocks in their home (microwaves, ovens, wall clocks, watches).
Clearly label the correct time or leave a simple note as a reminder.
Be patient if they seem confused or disoriented, it may take a little time to adjust.
Keep routines as consistent as possible to provide reassurance.
Check in with a quick call or visit, small gestures make a big difference.

If you know someone who might need a hand, please take a moment to reach out. A little support can go a long way in helping them feel safe and comfortable during the time change.

Working with people in the community who are living with dementia, long term conditions, disabilities, and those who are socially isolated. We also provide community-based events that help to reduce the feeling of isolation.
