Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities 💜

This day is all about raising awareness of the challenges faced by people with disabilities and highlighting the importance of inclusivity, accessibility and equal opportunities for everyone.

It's also important to remember that disabilities aren't always visible and can include conditions such as autism, chronic pain, dementia, and learning disabilities.

If you need advice or support about a disability or long-term condition, speak with your GP for help and guidance.

📆 As we step into the final month of the year, here’s a look back at some of the key highlights from November!

From delivering additional evening & weekend appointments to hosting events, it's been another busy month for our team:

🚌 We delivered 155 GP appointments, alongside COVID vaccinations, on board our Health Van

🩺 We provided 2,196 additional evening and weekend appointments across Doncaster

🎩 We hosted a special event on International Men’s Day, engaging with members of the public about men’s health

👥 We held our Practice Manager Conference, bringing practices together to work on improving patient care in Doncaster

On Tuesday, 18th November, we hosted our second Practice Manager Conference, bringing together practices for a day of collaboration to share ideas and work together on improving patient care in Doncaster.

The event provided a safe and supportive space to share experiences, explore operational challenges and contribute ideas for shaping the future of primary care in .

Attendees had the chance to meet our new CEO, Michael Shaw, and connect with colleagues from our HR, Governance, and Finance teams.
