Earlier this month, we were out in Doncaster with Vincent Van Cough to mark Time to Talk Day, and what a meaningful day it was!

We were joined by NHS RDASH Talking Therapies and Doncaster Mind and we held important conversations about mental health support with over 30 people who stopped by our stand.

We spoke about:
🧠 The mental health impact of long-term conditions
💭 Stress and worry
🫂 Support for carers
📚 Learning disabilities
🌍 Access to support for people whose first language isn’t English

Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat and to NHS RDASH Talking Therapies and Doncaster Mind who joined us on the day!

Time to Talk Day may last one day, but the conversation continues all year round.

As part of the Women's Wellbeing Hub, Vinnie will be at Bullcroft Memorial Hall today offering cervical screening - no appointment is needed!

The Women's Wellbeing Hub (10am–12pm) will be offering support from Macmillan Cancer Information & Support Service - Doncaster, Doncaster Breast Cancer Support, BR Care Connect CIC, NHS Health Checks, and free Reiki and Chair Massage provided by Sharon Michell.

📌 Please note: there will be no GP on board, only smear tests are available today. Our mobile GP Clinics will be back next week!
