🐣 With the Easter Bank Holiday approaching, make sure you're prepared!

👨‍⚕️ GP practices will be closed on Friday, 3rd April and Monday, 6th April, so it’s important to order your repeat prescriptions in advance to ensure you have everything you need over the holiday period. You can order your repeat prescriptions through your GP Practice or via the NHS App.

💊 Some local pharmacies will have different opening hours during the Bank Holiday.

Today is Social Prescribing Day, an annual celebration recognising the valuable work of Social Prescribing Link Workers and the difference they make in supporting people’s health and wellbeing.

Social prescribing link workers help patients manage their social, emotional and physical wellbeing by connecting them to local groups and services that can offer practical and emotional support. These include volunteer opportunities, physical activities and even debt and housing advice.

If you think you could benefit from the support of social prescribing link workers, you can request a referral through your GP practice and get connected to the right help for you.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Vincent Van Cough! 🎉

Our Health Van is turning two today! 🥳

It’s been exactly two years since Vinnie's first shift and what a journey it’s been! From delivering weekly GP clinics to introducing new services, such as Love Your Lungs and our mobile smear test clinics, we’re incredibly proud of everything achieved so far.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve the Doncaster community and bring healthcare closer to the people who need it most.

Here’s to Vinnie, and many more miles ahead! 🚌💙
