ā€˜This is the best my knees felt after any surgery’

4 failed surgeries in the past… messaged myself and said he needed to do his rehab properly this time.

He had seen physios before after the operations but never felt he progressed or improved with his knee.

We’ve put together a personalised plan to tailor to Jordan’s knee & get him back doing CrossFit in the best condition he’s been in.

Just 8 weeks after ACL and meniscus surgery Jordan is pain free loading and absolutely flying.

Plenty more rehab to go but he’s made a great start and will no doubt smash his rehab this time.

Hamstring strength is one of the most overlooked parts of rehab and training.

Especially in runners.
Weak hamstrings don’t just cause hamstring strains.
They overload the knee.
They pull on the lower back.
They affect how you run.

These 3 exercises target hamstring strength in different ways:

1ļøāƒ£ Hamstring bridges for basic strength and control
2ļøāƒ£ Foam roller bridges to increase co contraction through the calf and the hamstring
3ļøāƒ£ Knee drive into single-leg work to link strength into running mechanics

Not been an easy week! Juggling 1000000 things, kids not very well & football being football.

But wouldn’t have life any other way… 100 miles an hour & not stopping until we get to the end goal.

Some great wins in the clinic this week. Some runs for the first time in months, some hitting PB lifts, others walking without crutches for the first time.

Changing peoples life’s to pain free is still the best job in the world 🫔.

Oh and YANITED ARE BACK 🤩

Do we just treat athletes? Absolutely not, here’s Susan’s story!

Susan came to us several months ago with terrible neck & shoulder pain.

Since then we have worked with Susan on relieving her neck symptoms with soft tissue massage, mobilisations & range of movement techniques.

We also gave Susan a personalised shoulder programme to help strengthen her shoulder up.

Susan’s neck has been completely pain free now for months and we regularly have treatment to keep the symptoms away, and prevent a reoccurrence.

This will start at 15 hours per week, with a clear opportunity to move into full-time very soon as the clinic continues to expand

The role
You’ll be working 1:1 with clients, delivering proper assessment, treatment and rehab.ļæ½Real people. Real problems. Real outcomes.
Our caseload is mainly MSK, sports injuries and persistent pain - from everyday clients to athletes.
This role is perfect for a physiotherapist looking to work in private practise and have a 1-1 mentorship focusing on improving their clinical development & treatment skills.

Hours & progression
* Starting at 15 hours per week
* Strong potential to move full-time in the near future
* Clinic growth is already there - this role grows with it

Requirements
* BSc or MSc Physiotherapy / Sports Rehab / Sports Therapy
* HCPC & CSP registered or equivalent
* Strong MSK knowledge
* Confident with hands-on treatment and rehab progression
* Someone proactive, curious, and invested in patient outcomes
* An interest in performance, sport, or higher-level rehab is a big plus
Private practice or sports experience is great - but the willingness to learn and progress is key to the role.

Your day-to-day
* Delivering 1:1 assessments, treatment and rehab
* Managing your own caseload properly
* Writing clear notes within 24 hours
* Working across clinic and gym space
* Upholding the professional standards of Pure Motion Health
