Hamstring rehab 🔥

Harvey’s struggled with several hamstring injuries over the years and finally came to see us to get sorted for good.

We found a few issues and reasons why this has happened.

Now while we can’t ever rule out an injury happening, his chances of reoccurrence have drastically reduced.

Right sided anterior shoulder pain
Painter & Decorator
Keen Pool Player
Pain now for over 6 months
Worse as the day goes on
After a days work feels like it’s ‘bruised’
Pain when lifting arm over head in flexion
Painful arc on abduction

After just 1 session we managed to reduce this clients pain considerably and walked out with a smile on his face!
The session included STM, IASTM & some banded exercises focusing on scapular control & ‘queuing’ when moving.

Total knee replacement rehab.

These can be very tricky and slow if not done properly.

Mick came to us 3 weeks post surgery.
Unable to bend past 30 degrees
Unable to weight bear without crutches
In constant pain.

To this in just 4 weeks of rehab.

When you know what you’re doing with a proper plan in place everything seems simple.

Quad shaking after ACL surgery?
That’s not weakness. It’s Arthrogenic Muscle Inhibition or ‘AMI’

After surgery, swelling and joint trauma interrupt the brain’s ability to fully activate the quadriceps. The muscle isn’t “lazy” the signal is disrupted.

Slipped disc treatment 💪🏼

This client experienced quite a nasty disc injury several weeks ago and was struggling to bend down to touch his toes due to pain.

During the appointment we worked to improve his symptoms and improve his range of movement allowing him to be more functional day to day.

Disc injuries aren’t a quick fix and take a lot of time and rehab to get back to full fitness however with the right treatment and care it is possible.
