💧Water💧

Many of you tell me you don't drink enough water and that you know you need to drink more.

Try and set yourself a daily goal that is achievable to increase the amount you drink. You can always then slowly increase that amount.

Always drink plenty of water after your treatment too-

Water plays a fundamental role in nearly every system of the body and following reflexology, where the body may shift into a state of increased regulation and balance, adequate hydration becomes especially important.🚨

💧Water as the Body’s Primary Transport Medium💧

Approximately 60% of the adult human body is composed of water. It acts as the primary transport medium for nutrients, oxygen, hormones and metabolic waste. The circulatory and lymphatic systems rely heavily on sufficient fluid levels to function efficiently.

Reflexology aims to support the body’s natural regulatory mechanisms, often promoting relaxation, improved circulation and lymphatic movement.

When these systems are worked during a reflexology session metabolic by-products can be mobilised more effectively.

Adequate water intake supports the kidneys, liver and lymphatic system in processing and eliminating waste products through urine, perspiration and bowel function.💖

🥤So, drink plenty of water - especially after a reflexology treatment.

Each morning, before my treatments start, I take a quiet moment to think about every client I’ll see in that day.

I think about their needs, and where they are on their wellbeing journey. I look back at their notes and previous sessions to help inform their next one. 📝

It’s a time to ground myself, set intentions, and prepare my hands and heart to truly listen.

This pause helps me to show up fully present, focused, and ready in every way. ✨

Taking this time reminds me that every session is personal, purposeful, and deserves care, respect, and mindful preparation for both my client and myself, every single day.🥰
