The rain is rubbish, but think about this;
We've made it through the darkest weeks of the year ✨

👂 have you thought about ear reflexology?👂

It's surprisingly really relaxing and a quick treatment...

Ear reflexology, otherwise known as auricular reflexology is a unique type of reflexology in its own right.

Ears are sensitive and full of nerve endings (over 500), making them an effective area to treat with reflexology.

Similar to other types of reflexology, the ear reflex points include points for every body part, organ and gland.

Additionally, however, they also contain points for emotional balance, such as points for anti-depression, balance of sadness and worry, and for anti-aggression.

Because the ears are so small, and each contains the whole body map, an ear reflexology session can be performed in a relatively short time as compared to other reflexology sessions.

For the same reason, ear reflexology is very easy to "add on" to other treatments, making the overall effect of any session more effective.

Apparently today is Blue Monday, but in reality that isn’t true; colours don’t care what day it is, and any day can be blue; put the kettle on and paint the day any colour you want to.

This past Christmas was the first year in a long time that I was able to really relax and enjoy the festivities without feeling preoccupied with work stuff. It was lovely!

Now, I'm back in the treatment room, turning my attention back to what I now caĺl 'work'
but doesnt truely feel like work.

I appreciate not everyone is where I am now at and indeed you may be where I was;
* Dreading going back to work
* Stressing about meeting the demands of working and parenting and everything in between
* Worrying about everyone else with little time for yourself
* A fuzzy head, forgetful, frustrated

Reflexology is my escape from the hustle and bustle of life, after a session I always feel;
👣 Relaxed yet Energised/Motivated
👣 I Think Clearer
👣 I Feel Calmer
👣 I am definately Happier
👣 I feel more Balanced Physically and Emotionally

This is why my Reflexology is all about supporting those at their most vulnerable, so that you do not feel that way anymore, so that you can begin to feel.....

✨ More in control of your well being
✨ Less overwhelmed / anxious
✨ Motivated to make positive changes
✨ Self love / acceptance
✨ Deeply relaxed and aligned
✨ Energised and ready to face the day

I'm trained in;
👣 Reflexology for Stress and Anxiety
👣 Reflexology for Menopause
👣 Living with Chronic Health Conditions / Pain (such as Lymphoedema, Cancer, Arthritis, Back problems)
👣 Living with Life Limiting Illnesses (Such as MND, Cancer)
👣 Supporting fertility
👣 Pregnancy reflexology
👣 Reflexology for babies and children

I'm so grateful to be doing what I love and watching others benefit 🤗👣💖

Final tip from Dr Rangan’s Tips for a Happier 2026🤗

🧭Reconnect with your values

Feeling lost - especially in midlife - often comes from confusing who we are with the roles we play.

Dr Chatterjee encourages identifying three core values (e.g. compassion, curiosity or integrity) that truly represent you.

When your daily actions line up with those values, you feel more grounded and less stressed, even if your circumstances haven’t changed yet.

It’s a powerful way to reconnect with yourself and regain direction.

Healthy circulation is essential for every part of the body. Blood delivers oxygen and nutrients to tissues, while the lymphatic system helps remove waste products and supports immune function. When circulation is compromised, people may experience cold hands and feet, fatigue, slower recovery, or a general feeling of heaviness in the body.

Reflexology works holistically, encouraging deep relaxation and supporting the nervous system. When the body moves out of a stress-response state, blood vessels can relax, which may help improve circulation throughout the body. This shift also supports lymphatic movement, allowing fluids and waste products to move more efficiently.

By supporting both blood and lymph flow, reflexology may help improve tissue health, energy levels, and the body’s natural ability to repair and restore itself. As a complementary therapy, it does not replace medical care, but it can be a valuable part of maintaining whole-body wellbeing and resilience over time.

Dr Rangan’s Tips for a Happier 2026🤗

👥 Talk to strangers!

A quick chat with the barista, a smile at someone in the queue, or a friendly “thank you” might seem insignificant - but it isn’t.

Dr Chatterjee explains that small social interactions send signals to the brain that the world is safe.

These moments boost mood, reduce loneliness, and give us a subtle sense of connection and control. In a phone-obsessed world, these tiny human moments are more powerful than we realise.💖

Tip #4 that I'm trying from Dr Rangan’s Tips for a Happier 2026🥰

💖Practise gratitude

You might feel sceptical about gratitude, but the science behind it is solid.

Our brains are wired with a negativity bias - always scanning for what’s wrong - and gratitude helps rebalance that.

Dr Chatterjee suggests a simple habit: each day, name three things you’re grateful for.

You can write these down in a book, think of them before bed or share them with someone.

Done consistently, it can improve mood, sleep, focus, and anxiety levels, and gently shift how you see your life.💖

Tip #3 from Dr Rangan’s Tips for a Happier 2026😊

⌛give yourself 5 mins of joy

When life feels relentless - especially for carers, parents, or anyone constantly meeting other people’s needs - joy can feel like a luxury.

Dr Chatterjee argues it’s actually essential.

Just five minutes a day doing something you genuinely enjoy (a cup of tea and a biscuit, a favourite song, a quick dance in the kitchen) helps build resilience to stress.

It won’t remove your problems, but it makes them feel easier to carry.

Stranger Things soundtrack has been my go to this weekend! 🪩

The next tip I'm following from 🤗Dr Rangan’s Tips for a Happier 2026

☺️Build happiness with alignment, contentment and control 😊

Rather than seeing happiness as something that just happens, Dr Chatterjee describes it as a skill we can all practise.

He breaks it down into three ingredients:
alignment (living in a way that reflects who you really are),
contentment (regular moments of calm and peace),
and control (focusing on what you can influence, not the chaos you can’t).

When these three are in balance, happiness becomes much more sustainable — even when life is busy or stressful.

Want to feel more in control and less stressed - I'm following Dr Rangan’s Tips for a Happier 2026😊

📱Treat your phone like a person

Before we even put our feet on the floor in the morning, many of us have already clocked up a handful of ‘micro-stress doses’
- snoozed alarms, emails, news alerts, social media, and messages all competing for attention.

Dr Chatterjee explains that these tiny stresses add up fast and push us closer to overload before the day has even begun.

His simple fix? Create boundaries with your phone like you would a person. Try keeping your phone out of reach for the first 15–20 minutes each morning or out of the bedroom overnight.

That one small boundary can dramatically lower stress and help you start the day feeling calmer and more in control.💖

I'll share another tip over the weekend ✨
