Sound familiar? That internal monologue can be a right negative Nelly. But here’s the thing: just because you think it, doesn't mean it's true.

Next time that voice crops up, treat it like a cheeky chunter from a stranger in the town centre. Ignore it and keep walking. 🚶‍♀️

You aren't too old. Nobody is looking at you (they’re too worried about themselves!). And your past isn't your future.

Still walking through treacle every morning? 🧠💨

Walking into a room and forgetting why you’re there?

Checking your phone only to forget who you were texting?

It’s not “just age.”

We’ve all got them: the "food pushers" at work or the mates who don't get why you're choosing a salad over a kebab. It’s hard when the people around you are stuck in old habits.

But here’s the mindset shift: Their comfort isn't your responsibility.

You don't have to be a misery, but you do have to be firm. You're making a change for YOU, not them. Real friends will back you up when you say "no thanks, I’m feeling great as I am."

The day we all promise to "start again."

It’s BU****IT.

Waiting for the "perfect" time is why you’re still stuck in the same cycle.

At Busy Ladies Coaching, we play by the 1% Habit Rule.

Can’t face a 60-minute workout?
Fine.
Do 10 minutes.

Can’t prep a whole week of healthy meals?
Cool.
Just make one better choice today.

The goal isn't perfection. Perfection is a lie that keeps you on the sofa.

The goal is moving the needle. Just a little bit.

Zero is the enemy. 1% is the win.

10 minutes of movement > 0 minutes of planning.

Stop overthinking the mountain and just step on the path.

Your future self doesn't care if you started on a Monday or a random Wednesday. She just cares that you STARTED.

Show up for yourself today. Not next week.

In this game, you either WIN or you LEARN.

"Well, you've ducking blown it now. Might as well write off the whole weekend and start again Monday."

STOP. 🛑

That is absolute BU****IT.

Think about it like this...

If you’re driving through Doncaster and you get a flat tyre, do you get out of the car and slash the other three? 🚗💨

Course you don't.

You fix the tyre and you keep driving.

One "off-plan" meal is just a flat tyre.

It’s not a reason to sabotage your whole week of hard work.
