Having an advanced eye test can unveil a multitude of problems…

An eye test doesn’t just test your eyesight it checks several things about your eyes and overall eye health.
Here’s what’s usually included:

👁️ 1. Vision Test (Visual Acuity)
* Reading letters on a chart (near and far)
* Checks how clearly you see
* Determines if you need glasses or contacts

🔍 2. Refraction Test
* “Which is better, 1 or 2?”
* Fine-tunes your prescription

👓 3. Eye Coordination & Focusing
* Checks how well your eyes work together
* Tests depth perception and tracking

💡 4. Eye Health Check
* Looks at the front and back of your eye
* Can detect conditions like:
* Glaucoma
* Cataracts
* Macular degeneration
* Diabetic eye changes

🌈 5. Sometimes: Colour Vision & Peripheral Vision
* Tests side vision
* Checks for colour blindness
