South Moor Lodge Care Home South Moor Lodge is a residential and dementia care home for the elderly, in the village of Walkeringham.

By prioritising our people, our mission is to provide the highest standards of care, to as many elderly residents as possible. South Moor Lodge is an excellent residential and dementia care home for the elderly, in the village of Walkeringham, on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. South Moor Lodge Care Home is centred around an old nineteenth century barn that has been extensively modernised. The property is situated within two acres of landscaped grounds and surrounded by countryside. There are 40 bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms, and most are situated on the ground floor. Having recently undergone a programme of refurbishments the home now offers five different reception rooms including a cinema room and a conservatory.

We thought this was a lovely photo to share with you all. As you can see our residents Christmas party went down a treat and everyone had a blast with an unexpected visitor. We can't wait to meet new residents and introduce them to the home and residents that already live at South Moor Lodge. We support individual care needs with respect and dignity throughout. A helping hand goes a long way and our reward for this is to see that smile on our residents faces, it really is priceless. South Moor Lodge is a Band 5 care home that has been maintained for the past 7 years. We are very happy to accept local authority payment at this band without asking for an extra top up from family. Just a little reminder we support: *Day Care *Overnight stay *Respite Care *Long Term Care *Step up Bed (no longer needing hospital care, but not yet ready for home) due to requiring reablement team or physio input with the support of our care team. (The resident in the photo gave their consent to forward their picture)

Good afternoon everyone.
As of tomorrow, Sat 6th, December, if you are visiting our home by car, can you please drive through the first main gate and through front car park, turning left down the side of the building into our rear car park. Can we also ask that you return to our front entrance so we can sign you into the building for your visit.
