And the sunsets on another beautiful day as our last day in quarentine draws to an end 🌅 it’s safe to say I’m very much looking forward to some fresh air tomorrow and not watching the sun set from behind a glads pane. This last two weeks I’ve loved spending time with my baby boy, and as a family, getting jobs done you never find a minute to do at home and getting to know my family and myself that little bit better. Here’s to better days ahead ☀️

Learning to love spending time with yourself can be tricky . Especially if your mind can sometimes run away with your thoughts and distract you from enjoying the present moment. Find something you love doing. Read a book. Listen to some music. Dance around the room. What ever it might be take just half an hour out of your day to enjoy that time with just yourself. Yup …. Just you 💙 I’ve been taking time this week to read my book, Milly Johnson is a favourite of mine ! And listened to some playlists I used to love nearly two decades ago. 💙 whatever you chose to do. Enjoy it. Enjoy spending time with you. You are enough. 🦋

1:1 time with those we love . We are all special to somebody. Quarentine has been a reminder to really appreciate the time you have as a family. Even under poor circumstances connecting with others can help make us smile and feel better.

And this is today 💙💙💙 Quarentine day 3. Staring out from the 26th floor hotel room looking out on another beautiful perth winters day. ❄️ ☀️ locked in a hotel room for 15 days can feel very claustrophobic, especially when you watch the world go by from your window and the world is having a beautiful day ☀️ just to rub it in !!! I could spend all day feeling trapped and envious of those living with their freedoms right now, but those thoughts would make me feel miserable. So today, instead , I feel lucky that the sun is shining ☀️, lucky to be in a beautiful place when I walk out of this room, lucky to have the quality time with my family in here (my little boy is loving having his favourite people around him) and excited about all the things we get to do together in a matter of days, I know I’ll feel even more grateful for doing them for sure. Mindset is everything right now . -mindset

And another …..

Today we ate dinner in the shower. And slept until 10:15 am. I don’t think Archie has ever slept that long ! I leave out what time we all got to sleep 😂 Archie did get to spend his night in bed with mum and dad though, lots of cuddles 💙 Dinner in the shower you ask ? Yes unconventional….. but we don’t have a Hoover , or cleaning equipment so we didn’t fancy Archie playing with his spaghetti for the next 14 days. He does lovvve to play with spaghetti though 😋 anyone who has a baby will tell you it’s the cutest moment when they learn to suck up or slurp spaghetti pieces 🥰 I guess a whole 15 days in a hotel room makes you have to adapt and be more flexible. Whatever works for you 💙
