💚 Please Return Your Blood Pressure Monitor 💚

Dear patients,

We are pleased to provide blood pressure monitors for home use to help you manage your health. However, many monitors are not being returned.

If you’ve finished using your monitor, please bring it back to the surgery as soon as possible. Returning it allows us to continue lending to other patients who need it. ✅

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us provide the best care for our community. 🙏

👋 Meet Our Clinical Pharmacist

Kathy Davies is the surgery’s clinical pharmacist and an important member of the care team. She works closely with our GPs and is a specialist in medicines and how they work.

You may be invited to book a structured medication review with Kathy. These appointments give you time to talk through your medicines, ask questions, and discuss how you’re getting on, including any concerns or side effects.

Clinical pharmacists are highly trained professionals, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Seeing a clinical pharmacist complements GP care and can help you get the right support sooner and more easily.

🚫 Missed Appointments Matter 🚫

In January, we had 35 missed appointments, adding up to 704 minutes of wasted clinical time — this is significantly more than in previous months.

If you can’t attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, even if it’s only a few hours beforehand. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient who may be waiting.

By cancelling appointments you no longer need, you’re helping us use NHS time and resources more effectively. Thank you for your support 💙
