August Highlights at Casterbridge manor.
August has been a fantastic month here at Casterbridge Manor, filled with fun, creativity, and warm sunshine. We're thrilled to share some of the highlights with you!
Summer Fair Success
Our Summer Fair was a huge success, attracting visitors from near and far. The atmosphere was electric, with residents and guests alike enjoying the various activities and entertainment on offer. From delicious food and refreshing drinks to exciting games and stalls, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the festivities, and it was wonderful to see them having so much fun.
Sun-Kissed Afternoons
Our residents loved spending time in the garden, soaking up the warm sunshine and enjoying ice cream treats. The beautiful weather allowed us to set up outdoor seating areas, where residents could relax and take in the lovely views. It was wonderful to see them enjoying the fresh air and each other's company.
Sensory Delights
We've recently revamped our sensory room, and it's been a game-changer for our residents. The sensory sessions have provided a unique and engaging experience, with a combination of auditory and physical sensory activities. Residents have enjoyed exploring the different textures, sounds, and sensations, and we've seen a noticeable improvement in their mood and engagement. Our dedicated staff have been working hard to create a calming and stimulating environment, and it's clear that their efforts are paying off.
Rockin' to the 50s and 60s
Our "Singing the Centuries" sessions with Carlos and Jenny have been a huge hit. We've been rocking out to the iconic sounds of 50s and 60s rock and roll, with residents singing along to their favourite tunes. From Elvis to The Beatles, our residents have been enjoying the music and even showing off their dance moves. It's been fantastic to see everyone having so much fun and enjoying the music.
Artistic Creations
Our arts and crafts sessions have been incredibly productive, with residents creating some truly amazing masterpieces. From painting, drawing and collage making, our residents have been exploring their creative side and producing some stunning pieces. The art room is now filled with vibrant and colourful pieces, showcasing the talent and creativity of our residents. We're proud to display their artwork and can't wait to see what they create next.
