Inspiration incoming… ✨

Say hello 👋 to Demelza from our Saturday 8am group - recently crowned our ‘Greatest Loser’ having lost over 5 stone.

Demelza joined us after some holiday photos motivated her to make a change. At the time, life was full on – as well as looking after her own family, she was also caring for her parents… and all alongside a demanding job.

Demelza found herself turning to wine and high calorie foods for distraction, escape and comfort. It’s a story so many of us can relate to… but what she’s achieved since is nothing short of inspiring.

With every week, her confidence grew. And now? She’s not just transformed her health – she’s transformed her life. Demelza is officially a qualified sports massage therapist, finally pursuing the career she dreamed of back at university. How incredible is that?! 🤩

Watching Demelza flourish has been such a privilege - her energy, positivity and zest for life is contagious 💖.

Congratulations Demelza, we are SO proud of you. You’re an absolute inspiration! Here’s to the next exciting chapter of your journey ✨💫.

Another day 💯 on it for …

🙌 Brekkie granola weighed (Healthy Extra)
🙌 Wetherspoons ramen for lunch (5.5 Swips)
🙌 SW Kitchen meal for dinner (all Free Food)

PLUS!
Spent the day with my niece and nephew, and didn’t succumb to any “that little bit won’t matter” moments 😜…

🌟 No pinching their popcorn in the cinema
🌟 No sneaky chips off their plate at lunch
🌟 Said no to biscuits and had fruit instead

Due to maintenance works taking place at our usual venue, our Friday group is CHANGING TIMES AND LOCATION for this week only.

This only affects our FRIDAY group - no changes to our Saturday sessions, these will run as normal.

Our Friday group will then return to our usual times and venue from 27th February.

Keeping all my Healthy Extras and Swips for pancakes later so making sure the rest of my meals and snacks are completely Free Food 🙌.

Breakfast was a hastily grabbed banana 🍌 on my way to an appointment first thing…

Wanted a nice and filling lunch so opted for wholewheat pasta with Mediterranean vegetable sauce and salad 🍝🥗.

Swapping from white pasta to wholewheat is a simple way of boosting fibre intake… as well as the extra health benefits that wholegrain foods give. Tastes good too! 😉

Happy Sunday! And happy Day One of !

A rather bougie brunch for me today… egg 🍳 and avo 🥑 on sourdough toast 🍞 with balsamic toms 🍅 and ‘shrooms 🍄‍🟫.

This Tesco Finest Rye & Mixed Seed Sourdough Bread is a new discovery for me and it’s delicious. 50g is a Healthy Extra Fibre Choice… and because I’m going all in for , you can be sure I had those scales out! 🙌💯

And since the slices are all different sizes and weights, that’s going to mean a bit of trimming (and some maths 😜) to ensure I’m still Food Optimising 100%… but this bread makes such great toast, IMO it’s definitely worth it 😋.

Because we can’t just pick the pretty parts of the plan… we do all of it together for the very best results 💪✨.
