A quiet rule change in Europe could transform how the entire fashion industry treats waste, value, and responsibility.

From July 2026, the European Union will prohibit the destruction of unsold clothes and shoes, pushing major fashion brands to rethink overproduction and disposal practices.

Instead of discarding perfectly usable items, companies will need to explore recycling, reuse, donation, and smarter production planning—marking a decisive shift toward sustainability in one of the world’s most resource-intensive industries.

Sometimes progress begins not with invention, but with a simple boundary that says waste is no longer acceptable in the future we are trying to build.

We are open this coming Friday, during half term week, when we will have our prom dresses out on display. Please be mindful that we, unfortunately, only have small sizes .. maybe one is medium size. We also have a couple of suit jackets too. 👗💃🏻👔

A huge thank you to everyone who came in this morning and helped save over 500 items of clothing from going to landfill and maximising their life span.

Some items are being repurposed into other items, like making children's clothes etc.. some thicker, warmer items are being sent over to the Ukraine ...and alot are just being added to maximise people's wardrobes. Whatever the reason.. it has been a very successful project. So thank you all once again 🙏🏻 ♻️

Friday 13th doesn’t have to be unlucky.. this one’s from the heart, from us to you 💚 No price tags, just kindness. 🫶🏼

Come along tomorrow morning and help yourself to anything you can use.. whether thats to add to your wardrobe or repurpose items into anything else. We just don’t want them going to landfill. Please help prolong their life as much as possible.

💚Please bring any items chosen to us at the front, so we can keep a check on what stock is leaving the building.
💚Please bring back any hangers to us along with your chosen items.. not leaving the hangers on the rails please.
💚Remember to bring your own bags.
