Honouring Remembrance Day at Downsvale Nursing Home

On Remembrance Sunday, our residents came together to create beautiful poppy artwork and heartfelt messages of thanks — each one a personal tribute to those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. ❤️

We also gathered to watch the Remembrance Sunday service, joining the nation in reflection and the two minutes’ silence to remember the fallen and honour the brave.

And today, on the 11th day of the 11th month, at the 11th hour, we pause once more —
to remember them, now and always. 🌹

🎃 Spooky fun and plenty of smiles at Downsvale!

We may be a little late sharing, but our Halloween celebrations at Downsvale Nursing Home were simply too good to keep to ourselves! 👻💜

Residents and their families joined us for a day full of laughter, music and spooky fun — with fancy dress, themed decorations, crafts and plenty of delicious treats. 🎶🕸️

Our wonderful entertainer had everyone singing along and tapping their feet, and the room was filled with smiles and togetherness.
