A great St George’s day here at Dorking Manor. It was Margot’s 96th Birthday and she was spoilt from the moment she woke up with Birthday wishes and flowers. Then this afternoon we had the pleasure of Belle singing for us (without microphone). She was amazing and the advice our residents gave her was to not use the mic as her voice is superb! Another cracking day at Dorking Manor.

Fun in the sun this morning. Walks and ball games in the great outdoors nothing like some fresh air to start the day off.

Football and fussball this afternoon here at Dorking manor. We had a throw about in the lounge and then christened our new activity table, which went down very well. Look out for the tournament coming up in time for the World Cup . Come in for a kick about .

A great day here at Dorking manor, a darts comp this morning with Adrian taking the trophy. And this afternoon a fabulous music therapy session with Gabrielle. And another 90th birthday celebration for Peter . Something different for everyone !

We had the pleasure of wishing our lovely Dot AKA Dorothy a very happy 90th Birthday today. We began the day by crowning her queen of the day and finished by having a party with Jimmy Kent providing the singing and our wonderful chef Eden making a superb cake. We hope you had a great day and we loved celebrating it with you xx

We’re proud to be marking Dementia Action Week at Dorking Manor Care Home with a series of engaging activities designed to bring people together, raise awareness, and support those living with dementia.

We’ll also be opening our doors throughout the week – come along to meet our friendly team, take a tour of our home, and find out more about life at Dorking Manor.
