Hi I’m Nicky, a Yoga Teacher and Personal Trainer based on the South Coast between the beautiful Bournemouth seaside and the tranquility of the New Forest. From a grounding in mat-based classes to flying in Aerial Yoga, I share the wonderful practice of yoga from my heart, for everyone. Mixing things up a little for this offering! As things get busier with the festive season upon us, rather than the usual weekend session for this, we are going for an early morning sunrise session and a cosy evening one.

Join me on Monday 1st December 7.15am for an uplifting Yoga flow, followed by sauna & sea dips, finishing with homemade granola and coffee/tea before you start your day!
(Sauna finishes at 8.50, you are welcome to take treats to go if you need to) Only three spaces left for this one!

Tuesday 9th December 7pm for a cosy slow flow, sauna & sea, herbal teas & homemade treats!

These gatherings are always so rejuvenating and a beautiful opportunity to connect with our lovely community.

Two years since this lil kitty was poorly 💛 Emergency surgery, nine days in intensive care… & then we brought her home to say goodbye, nothing more they could do.

It still feels like a miracle ✨ So many of you sent her healing & I will always be so grateful 🥲

Sound healing, Reiki, round the clock care & all the love brought her back to us 🤲🏻

So an update - She’s still my baby girl, just as sassy & curious as ever. Will only accept being groomed with my hairbrush & regularly gets her breakfast in bed. Joins every online Yoga class I share & insists on snuggles. Often found in boxes, regardless of size.

If you struggle to sleep, and are looking to find better bedtime routines and better quality sleep - then this is for you! 🌙✨
 
As someone who always struggled with sleep, I was constantly looking for ways to help myself settle with healthier sleeping habits and routines. The practices of Yoga and Yoga Nidrā have been life-changing for me in many ways, particularly when it has come to helping with my sleep. This offering has been lovingly created, as a way of sharing what I have learned in my journey to more restful bedtime routines and truly nourishing sleep.

Join me for six weeks of breathwork, restorative Yoga practices and guided sleep meditations to help you settle into a truly restful sleep. Giving you the tools to cultivate your own nourishing bedtime routines & rituals.

Each week we will focus on a different theme, exploring ways we can create more positive evening routines to help us not only fall asleep with ease, but to also support us in sleeping through the night. We will be sharing WHY these things work as well as what to do - underpinning with the science of sleep 😴 & supporting you to find what works for you too 🤲🏻

Recordings available for those who cannot join us live - and will be available for a month after the course end.

(PS - You can even practice in bed so you drift off without needing to get up again!)

We embraced all that came our way with the weather, the rain as a blessing… Creating an extra cosy space for us all to rest, enhancing all the colours and senses in our nature walk & oh that pitter-patter on the roof of the yurt ✨🤲🏻💛

An evening of Yoga & Sound Healing followed by Sauna & Sea - Restful yet Rejuvenating - Join us for our first collaboration 🤲🏻🥰🌊 We are so excited to share this with you!

Gathering in The Wight Room to begin, we will share a gently uplifting Hatha flow with Nicky, settling into the space & inviting you to let go of your day. Easing away any tensions & creating harmony for both mind & body. With hands-on assists to lovingly guide you.

Effortlessly transitioning into deeply restorative sound healing with Viv. Bathed in the soothing vibrations of the gongs, you’ll be guided into a space of stillness and renewal, allowing the waves of sound to wash over you & resonate within.

We will then explore the beautiful balance of contrast therapy - with time in the stunning beachside Saltwater Sauna & dips in the sea. Creating connections with our lovely group as we share this experience. Cleansing and rejuvenating, be guided to tune in to your breath, find your own blend & boost your resilience.

Finishing with tea & homemade treats!

As someone who always struggled with sleep, I have found Yoga to be one of the most positive practices for helping me find more restful bedtimes. Yoga can help us to find better sleep in lots of ways. Not only in terms of a regular practice, but also specifically in ways we can bring Yoga into our bedtime routines.

🌙✨ Practicing Yoga before bed (particularly gentle, restorative styles) lets your body know it’s time to wind down. It’s a natural way to help you settle into a restful space & prepare for sleep.

🌙✨ A regular Yoga practice can also help to reduce all the tensions we hold in our body. Having more freedom of movement means we are less likely to be kept awake by any niggles and discomfort.

🌙✨ Yoga not only relaxes our body, but our mind too. We are encouraged to be present, to leave behind all the swirling thoughts that distract us, allowing ourselves to just be. Breathwork practices naturally help us to settle into a calmer space.

🌙✨ Yoga Nidrā (Yogic Sleep) is a special meditation that guides you into a liminal space between sleep and wakefulness. This healing practice can be used to help you fall asleep, or experience deep rest. Regular Nidrā practice has also been shown to lead to better sleep efficiency.

🌙✨ Studies have shown that people who practice Yoga tend to have better quality of sleep, fall asleep more quickly and wake less during the night. Yoga promotes vagal tone, helping us to balance our stress responses & tune in to our parasympathetic (rest & restore) state.
