Bob's family and his loving partner Lyndsey invite you to

A Celebration of the Life of Bob Russell.

March 27, 1959 - July 21, 2024

Join us to share stories and memories of our wonderful Bob.

Friday, August 30th

The day will begin with a service at 9:45 AM at St. Mary's Church, Bransgore, BH23 8JH. (Please note, parking is limited, so consider walking or carpooling if possible.)

The church service will conclude at 10:30 AM, followed by a special bike peloton to honor Bob’s love for cycling. Bob’s son, along with some of Bob’s cycling companions, will have one last cycle together, leading Bob to the New Forest Crematorium, Stem Lane, New Milton, BH25 5FH, for an 11:00 AM service.

For those who cannot attend in person, the service at New Forest Crematorium will be live-streamed. A link will be provided closer to the date.

After the crematorium service, we will gather for the wake. Details will be confirmed soon.

We hope the day will be a wonderful celebration of our Amazing Bob.

Dress code: Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, whether that's a mourning suit, activewear, or, in true Bob style, shorts and flip-flops!

Please let us know if you can join us by replying to this post or sending a message, so we can have an idea of numbers. We would greatly appreciate it.

We have also set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the costs of his funeral (see link below) and to give Bob the send off he deserves. If you feel you can or would like to donate, any contributions would be greatfully recieved.

This is the hardest thing to put into words and I hoped and prayed we wouldn't have to say. Throughout the last couple of weeks Bob has fought with such a positive fighting spirit. All of your love and support has meant so much to him. With shattered hearts Bob passed away very peacefully this morning wrapped in love with his family by his side.
Bob was a very special man who meant so much to so many of you. We are sending our love to all of you who will be feeling his loss as we are ❤️
