ChatHealth is a safe, confidential text messaging service where young people can get advice and support from qualified health professionals about things like stress, anxiety, relationships, health worries, or anything else on their mind.

It’s quick, discreet and easy to use — just send a message and a member of the team will reply, usually within 24 working hours. You don’t even need to give your name.

Sometimes it’s easier to text than talk. 💙

Looking after mental wellbeing 💛

We’d like to remind families about Kooth, a free and confidential online wellbeing service for young people.

Kooth provides a safe space to talk about worries, feelings, or everyday pressures. Young people can chat one-to-one with a trained counsellor by text, explore self-help tools, and read experiences shared by others in a moderated community.

There’s no referral needed, and users don’t have to give their real name. Support is available at times that suit them, including evenings.

Kooth can be a really helpful place to start if a young person needs a bit of extra support.

Bowel cancer is one of the most common cancers in the UK.
Bowel cancer screening uses a test called a faecal immunochemical test (FIT) to look for blood in a sample of your poo. This could be a sign of bowel cancer.
You collect the sample at home and send it by post to be tested.
It can help find cancer early, and before you have any symptoms, which may mean it's easier to treat.
