Our friendly nurse-led team offers expert 24-hour personalised care, 7 days a week. Our carers will take time to get to know you and your likes, dislikes and daily routine to ensure you feel at home from day one. For National Button Day, the residents at Fairmile Grange had a wonderful time creating beautiful Christmas cards with brightly coloured buttons for their families and friends.

The morning was relaxing and fun, especially after the lovely Joan suggested that everyone might enjoy a little Tchaikovsky while crafting — The Nutcracker proved to be the perfect choice.

Did you know? The National Button Society was founded in 1938 as a celebration for everyone who enjoys collecting and crafting with buttons. Do you remember your mother or grandmother keeping a button tin?

Fairmile Grange residents enjoyed a wonderful visit from Curly yesterday to help celebrate Remembrance Day. 🌺

Curly performed his popular Cockney Sing-a-long Show, a lively and heartfelt presentation about World War One and World War Two. The residents had a fantastic time reminiscing about the old music halls they used to visit in their youth, sharing memories, and singing along to all the classic songs they know and love. 🎶

It was a truly special afternoon filled with nostalgia, laughter, and remembrance. ❤️

🐻💛 Happy National Hug a Bear Day!💛🐻

A hug is makes everyone feel warm inside and Fairmile Grange’s lovely resident Barbara proudly introduced her favourite teddy bear Mr Cuddly to some other residents, and before long, he was passed around for plenty of hugs and beaming smiles.

There were smiles all around as residents reminisced about their own childhood teddies and shared stories of their beloved bears. It was a heartwarming day full of laughter, cuddles, and a reminder that you’re never too old for a teddy bear hug!

Fairmile Grange residents, staff and visitors had a fantastic time celebrating National Doughnut Day with their very own Guy Fawkes on his special day!
There was a variety of delicious doughnuts for everyone to enjoy, all under the watchful eye of Guy Fawkes himself.
A lively debate broke out over which doughnuts were the best, but judging by how quickly they disappeared, it seems the traditional sugar doughnuts were the clear favourite!

Fairmile Grange had so much fun at the weekend making their Guy Fawkes! Last year's Guy set the bar high but this year's Guy will match it!

On Saturday the residents got sticky using a balloon and covering it in papier mache to make Guy's head, helped by Lynda and Douglas's grandchildren

On Sunday the music was playing as everyone sang along and scrunched up newspaper donated by Allan, to give Guy a little padding, quite a lot of padding actually

Guy Fawkes will be making his appearance today Wednesday 5th November when he helps to hand out doughnuts for National Doughnut Day

Residents were fully engaged and captivated by the experience, with countless lovely conversations sparked by the charming collection of nostalgic treasures.

The Curiosity Case is a beautiful celebration allowing residents to remember their youth and the past — helping to bring back these cherished memories, it was lovely to see the smiles, and stories from all involved.

🎉 Last week wasn’t all about Halloween at Fairmile Grange — residents and staff also had the absolute joy of celebrating the lovely John’s 86th birthday, and what a wonderful day it was! 🥳

Everyone adores John — especially his wife, Angela, and his son, Richard — who joined in the celebrations and enjoyed a slice (or two!) of the delicious cake prepared by our amazing chef, who never fails to create something special. 🍰

A very happy birthday to a truly wonderful man who never fails to brighten every room with his smile! 💛

Fairmile Grange kicked off their Halloween celebrations with a spook-tacular themed photoshoot — funky glasses, smiles, and lots of festive spirit!

Afterwards, the Halloween treat trolley rolled through with plenty of goodies for both staff and residents to enjoy.
It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, treats, and just the right amount of spooky fun!

This week at Fairmile Grange has been all about Halloween!
Residents got creative and had some spooky fun making their very own pumpkin hanging decorations. There was also a fiercely contested pumpkin drawing competition, with everyone showing off their artistic skills and determination to win. Each design was fantastic, but a big congratulations to Jean for taking the win with her amazing pumpkin creation! Residents are not the only creative people at Fairmile Grange as you can see by the napkin hat modelled by Wellbeing’s Ellie and crafted by one of the night team
