Oh my goodness… I’ve finished!! 🥳 Five weeks of radiotherapy and chemotherapy at Poole Hospital, done ✅️

Bell rung (again) 🔔😅

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the incredible staff who’ve looked after me every single day.

Five weeks of going in daily means you meet some truly wonderful people, and they’ve made a pretty unenjoyable experience… dare I say it… actually quite fun at times! Their sense of humour, their kindness, their big hearts - I truly couldn’t have asked for better care.

Special shout-out to the naughty radiographer who dared me to turn up on my last day in fancy dress… hence the full yellow hazmat suit and radioactive stickers. What can I say? I’m easily led and can't resist a dare!! 🤣

I also wanted to say the biggest thank you to all of you for sticking by my side, checking in, sending messages, and cheering me on - especially this last week when I really needed it. I love you all to bits, and I’m so very grateful for every single one of you.

I can’t wait to start feeling a bit more human again and get back to doing what I love most!

PS. And while we’re thanking people… can we take a moment to appreciate these incredible cakes made for the staff by the ridiculously talented Kari at Le Cake Shop in New Milton? Absolutely stunning 😍

Evening all 😘

We know this isn't the sort of post you'd normally see from us on a Saturday evening, but this is something we felt the need to share.

Some of you may have seen the tragic news of a lady who died this week in a crash on the A35. She was 37 and has 4 children. 💔

We’ve seen her family sharing a GoFundMe link for her funeral, and it brought back memories of what we were going through almost 5 years ago to the day.

No one expects to lose a loved one so young and so suddenly. Most of us don't have the luxury of having a savings pot that could cover a funeral.

We had no idea what it would cost, and despite choosing a very basic send-off for Josh, it was still around £6K. If it wasn't for a few angels we were lucky enough to have in our lives, we wouldn't have been able to afford it.

This young lady's family are going through the same heartbreak so we just thought, even if just one of you might be able to donate a couple of pounds, anything to lighten their terrible burden and allow her family and four babies to say a proper goodbye to their mum, would help.

Ps. Not to be pushy, but think what you'd spend on a weekend takeaway without even thinking about it 🫶

Hi! Let us introduce ourselves - we're Aly & Jade, a mother and daughter run skin clinic in Christchurch, Bournemouth that specialise in anti-ageing treatments and problem skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and pigmentation.

When we're talking about anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, non-surgical facelifts, laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, acne scarring, stretch mark, laser pigmentation & thread vein treatment or perhaps even skin tag and mole removal - it can all sound a bit scary!

So we like to think we help to bust some myths, tell you about some common misconceptions and take away and fears about the amazing treatments we offer.
