Highcliffe Positive Living Group A Positive Living Group aims to support its community so wherever possible a local person is chosen to be the guest speaker.

Regular talks are given by some of the most inspirational people in the field of alternative and holistic living, followed by light refreshments and the opportunity to socialise with like-minded people. The emphasis is very much on the health of the mind, body, spirit and planet and in essence it is the bringing together of people with possible answers with those who have questions.

Gaining a bit more understanding around neurodivergence …

You are not a parrot

You are not a sheep

But isn’t it funny how some will easily become a little of both

Follow the leader and parrot their information

Remove a mask to put on someone else’s

Claim they are sovereign but use someone else’s script

Word for word

The information is there for you to take what resonates

See if it works for you and your life

Allow it to expand you

Then discover more

Your own more

That’s where your gems are

Personalised for you

Inside of you stretched out for as far as you are willing to reach

You are made of a little carbon but that doesn’t mean you’re a carbon copy

A light house is a beautiful thing

A guide for others on life’s journey

But to become one you must understand the shores you are on, and the depths of water surrounding you

Someone else’s isn’t enough

It’s ok to be you

You are enough

You always have been

You always will be

Don’t forget it

Little thoughts for this beautiful day

Falling apart, holding it all together. Then falling apart, then coming back together again. Cycles of clarity and confusion. Hopelessness and hope. Heartbreak and bliss.
As the seasons of the natural world unfold, so do the creative and destructive aspects of love as it makes its way into matter.

Inside the opposites it is relentlessly creative, but there is no solid ground from which to orient.
Some sort of death has occurred, and we know that things cannot stay the same. Something is calling, reaching back into the present from a future that is marinating in the womb of Now.
But what will be reborn from the ashes is not yet known.

Rather than scramble out of death and into rebirth prematurely, stay in the fire. It is unknown here, naked and fresh, and pregnant with essence. See that death does not need to be “healed” or “transformed,” for it is outrageous, wild, and utterly pure on its own. Enter inside the broken and discover the raw life that is found only here.

If you remain too identified with “falling apart,” you lose contact with innate radiance, and become misattuned to the flow of embodied experience as it is.
You disconnect with the magic of presence, with the wisdom of the earth, and the realization that nothing is wrong with you.
You forget that the darkness, when provided sanctuary, is brighter than a thousand suns.

But if you remain too identified with “holding it all together,” you disconnect from natural vulnerability and the spontaneous mystery as it appears, turning from the surging reality that things could fall apart and reorganize at any moment.
It is true that raw, tender heartbreak could approach at any time, requesting safe passage inside you. But it is through this broken aliveness that the poetry of your life will flow.

Right in the middle of “falling apart” and “holding it together” is the secret place. Stay there.
It is here where you will find the rest you are longing for, the remedy to the exhaustion of becoming.
It is here where the light and the dark are in union, where integration and disintegration emerge as one in love, and where lunar and solar weave together particles of the sacred world.

If in a couple relationship one of the partners decides to start his inner work, identify his traumas and work on healing them, there are two options: either the other partner starts doing this too, or the relationship breaks.
It is not possible for the relationship to continue if one of the partners opens the Pandora's box inside him and the other refuses to do so.

The moment I shine the spotlight on my traumas, that light will fall on you too.
And if you don't want to look at your traumas, if you refuse to see/accept them, then you'll do everything you can to get rid of me, because in your opinion I'm the "problem", my light bothers you, brings out revealing things in you that you don't want to see.
You'll find an excuse to get away from me so you don't have to see what's in your "box". You will find an excuse to take the light out of your life.

As we enter the healing path we become a beacon for those who have not yet healed their traumas, but our Light disturbs those who do not want to do their inner work, who do not want to deal with their traumas.

When you have advanced on the path of healing, you manifest yourself authentically, you are no longer willing to pretend to fit in, to be accepted/validated by those around you, you are no longer interested in what others think/say/do.
And you no longer have any qualms about sharing sensitive things from your past, if that's what it takes to help those around you open up to the healing process, to understand how important it is to heal their own traumas.
This mode of manifestation pushes the buttons of those who do not have the courage to be authentic.
