hArt is a local arts for well-being charity based between Lymington and Christchurch, UK and delivers professional art therapy services; participatory arts programs for well-being and outdoor, nature based arts projects - providing opportunities for all ages to benefit from. We run regular art therapy and well-being groups in Lymington and Fordingbridge, as well as bespoke programs for specific groups and needs. We also work with local schools and colleges, in both group and one-to-one sessions, and also run outdoor nature art programs. These are created and led by fully-qualified art therapists and arts facilitators. hArt works in various locations across the New Forest, Hampshire and Dorset, including regular groups in Fordingbridge and Lymington. Our office is based at CODA Music Centre, Chewton Farm Road, BH23 5QL, but all our work is delivered in the community, in schools and colleges and outdoor woodland locations in and around the New Forest. One of our main aims is to take hArt out and about, using village halls, schools, colleges and care homes, and to involve local people. We hope to make hArt sessions welcoming and enjoyable for everyone, whatever their age, ability and interests. The hArt team consists of passionate people bringing a vast amount of professional experience, knowledge and creativity to the delivery of arts and outdoor projects. Our therapy team is headed by qualified Art Psychotherapists who work alongside professional music, sound and drama therapists and arts facilitators, to deliver a variety of both group and one-to-one sessions. We are actively seeking art therapists, arts facilitators, artists, makers and volunteers to work with us. Please contact us through our website for further information www.hart.works
