All of our participant and volunteer lifejackets have now been serviced and are ready to be collected, just in time for the season starting in April.
Annual servicing like this is an important part of keeping everyone safe on the water. This year the total cost comes to £1,500, and the invoice is now due.
While it may not be the most exciting part of running the boat, it’s absolutely essential to everything we do — making sure our participants and volunteer crew can enjoy every trip safely and with confidence.
🎯 Servicing cost: £1,500
💙 If you’d like to support this, donations are always appreciated.
Thank you for supporting Wetwheels South East as we get ready for another great season on the water 🌊

With the strong winds predicted tomorrow, one of our jobs today was giving all our lines a quick check. She was all tucked up nice and secure before heading back to the office for more wonderful winter paperwork!
We are dreaming of sunny days and excited participants!
If you’d like to join us, bookings open at Easter!

After a misty start the sun shone for my meeting today at the very beautiful Solton Manor. It was lovely to join Dover District Council’s Tourism Industy Networking event. Hearing from other local tourist destinations, particularly Sam from Solton Manor, Peter from Port of Dover, Tony from Wingham Wildlife Park and Marc from The Dog at Wingham.
Joining with others in similar businesses is always a great eye opener, particularly with our season so close to starting.

At the end of last year, we were invited to join Exploring Inclusive Tourism in their brand new podcast!
How could we say no?
What a fantastic initiative and one we firmly stand beside. Let's break down those barriers both in our daily lives but also in tourism.
Please go and give it a listen, not just this episode but future ones too.
We’re making sure safety remains ship-shape at Wetwheels South East 🦺
Our participant and volunteer lifejackets are due their annual service, with a total cost of £1,500. It may not be the most exciting expense but it’s absolutely essential to everything we do.
