HAPPY SELF CARE SUNDAY
You know when you see a nice quote or message on Facebook and Instagram and think “That’s true, I should remember that”, there’s actually a hidden power in those words. When you find a sentiment that resonates with you, you’re more likely to take it to heart and use it to improve your mind-set. 💪
Affirmations take it one step further. They’re slightly different from inspirational quotes and reminders as they have the following key elements: they’re all about you, they’re unconditional, they’re focused in the present and they’re positive. So affirmations aren’t about saying “When I get that job, I will…” or “Tomorrow I’m going to…”. It’s all about the here and now.
So today, why don't you create an affirmation, or find one that resonates with you, and put it to good use! Type it in the Notes on your phone, stick a post-it on your mirror – put it wherever you need it! Repeat it to yourself and re-inforce the positive message. You can say it in your head but I find it works best when you say it out loud. 🙃

NEW DAY~ NEW YOU
I hope you all had a lovely Easter for those of us that celebrated it over the weekend.
For those that stayed on track, YAY! For those that didn’t stay 100% but still tried their best, very well done to you too 💕
For those that maybe over indulged, or have lost their way, lost their map, and all sense of direction this is the week to regain your focus and detox yourselves, and you can do this!
Think of going fully back on plan like a lovely cleanse and treat to your body.
In 3-4 days you will start to feel better and back in control. Remember to drink your minimum water of 2.25 up-to to 4 litres a day. Following any of the Steps properly and we’ll have you back on track, detoxed from sugar and feeling good again in no time.
Intentions: What you think you become...keep positive, and focused on your goals.
You are entirely up to you, prioritise you. You’re worth the effort.
Your nutrition is what will ultimately get you to lose the weight.
The exercise will help you maintain the results.
Focus on the 1:1 Diet foods that love you back.
Focus on project you ❤️

🥡🍛🍕FRIDAY NIGHT 🍛🥡🍕
Friday nights and weekends are alwaya tough at the beginning. A lot of people would normally have a takeaway, or ‘treat night’ and it can give you the right hump that you can’t do that.
Some tips....
1. Tell yourself - why are you losing weight? How will you feel when you get there? What’s the ultimate goal? It’s all so much better and more important than a takeaway!
2. Remind yourself that the satisfying feeling of a takeaway is VERY temporary. As soon as it’s done (and likely before that even!) you’ll feel yucky and guilty.
3. DRINK. Glug the water and fill yourself up on that so you’re less tempted to pick - perhaps even have some sparkling water with some water flavouring added!
My biggest tip, is don’t eat off plan SPONTANEOUSLY. The lack of control and impulsiveness can really bring you down and knock your confidence. You’ll feel SO good for saying no and not being knocked!

Ok so you either 💚 it or 🤮 it!!!
But here is a variation for you to try if you are not a huge fan of the golden vegetable water flavouring
Hug in a mug marmite broth
Serves 2 ~ 10 cals per serving
Ingredients:
2 tsp of marmite
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 so of dried thyme
250ml of boiling hot water
Method:
Put the marmite, pepper, chilli powder and thyme into a saucepan, add the boiling water and stir until the marmite has dissolved, simmer on a low heat until the water has absorbed the herbs and spices, serve piping hot in a mug 😋
