Happy Easter holidays everyone 🌿
Wishing you beautiful moments in nature and precious time with your loved ones.
I love keeping Latvian traditions alive in our home—it always brings back the sweetest memories of preparing eggs with my grandma. 💚

Today I had the honour of being part of a beautiful wellbeing afternoon for SEND parents at a local school 🤍

The session began with two wonderful practitioners guiding parents through gentle, creative work — from soothing facial care to creating personal clay “anchors”. These little anchors felt so meaningful… something to hold, return to, and be reminded to pause, breathe, and come back to yourself when things feel overwhelming.

I then had the privilege of offering a sound bath, and I’m honestly so grateful for the experience that unfolded.

There were deep journeys, emotional releases, and moments of true rest. One parent shared how the sounds brought her back to the memory of giving birth — allowing her to revisit, feel, and gently transform that experience. Others spoke about feeling deeply relaxed, held, and grounded… something that can be so rare, especially for parents who give so much of themselves every day.

The drum, the vibrations, the stillness… it all came together in such a powerful way.

Moments like this remind me why I do what I do. This work fills me up just as much as it supports others. It feels like I’ve found my place — holding space through sound, helping people reconnect, rest, and simply be.

Thank you to the amazing practitioners I worked alongside today — it was truly special to share this space with you 💛

And to all the parents who allowed themselves to receive — thank you for your openness and trust ✨

Yesterday was such a beautiful experience at , watching my child of light pursue her dreams on stage.

A heartfelt thank you to the team who support these young people with such care and dedication. It truly shows.

Seeing Helena doing what she loves, with that spark in her eyes, fills me with so much peace. This year has been a big one for her and full of growth and self-discovery.

We’ve missed you at home, but even more, we’re grateful you’ve been in a place where you can truly thrive, feel supported, and understood.

So lovely as well to see the friends you’ve made along the way 🤍

Watching the ripples in this bowl made me think of mothers.

Love moving quietly, like waves in water.

Through my work I meet many incredible mums, and I know that Mother’s Day can feel very different for each of us.

So today I simply want to honour the love that is given every single day.

Happy Mother’s Day 🤍

Last night was so beautiful. Thank you to everyone who came and shared another magical sound journey with me. Your support and kind feedback truly mean so much.

I’m grateful for every soul who walks through the door, but those who return again and again hold a special place in my heart. Speaking in front of people is still not easy for me (even when it’s dark! 😂), and seeing familiar faces helps me relax and feel safe. Thank you for that — I don’t think you realise how much it supports me.

Tickets are now available for the next sound bath in Wootton. If you’d like to benefit from the early bird price, just get in touch.

And when you look through the photos, at the end there’s a short video. See if you can hear anything.
Exactly… nothing.

It’s the moment after the sound bath finishes — everyone resting in a cloud of stillness and peace. One of the most beautiful moments of the evening. ✨

Have you ever experienced that deep silence after sound?

Before every session I prepare the space with intention and care.

My instruments are played gently, allowing the nervous system to soften and settle.
Tomorrow evening I’ll be offering a Sound Bath at Wootton Village Hall.

If you feel called to experience what sound can do, you are warmly welcome.

What are the qualities of a good sound practitioner?

All wellness practitioners need to do their own regular practice that includes self-reflections. Being aware of our own “stuff” and how to process it is essential.

A good sound practitioner also needs to be a good listener to create a safe and professional space in which clients can explore their therapeutic journey without fear or anxiety.

Anyone working with sound should have a good relationship with their instruments too as no two instruments are ever identical. This comes with practice and musical knowledge.

The final element is that practitioner should have had in depth, professional training. This helps them know which playing techniques create certain sounds and how to create a sound session that “lives and breathes” rather than one that falls flat.

We ensure that any BAST alumni leave our training courses fully ready for the world of sound with a host of safe, practiced, therapeutic practices under their belt.

In a world that moves so fast, our nervous systems rarely get the chance to truly slow down.

My sound sessions are played gently and with great care, allowing the body and mind to settle naturally. I never layer instruments heavily — each sound is offered with space, so the nervous system can feel held, safe and supported.

I’m trained in therapeutic sound and work with a deep understanding of how sound affects the nervous system.

I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came yesterday and allowed themselves to fully relax into the sound bath. Hearing that it felt both deeply relaxing and energising at the same time truly means so much to me. Your kind feedback always touches my heart, and I’m so grateful to be part of this beautiful monthly ritual for you.

A special thank you to my husband, who quietly supports me with so much of the behind-the-scenes work — I couldn’t do this without you. And to dear Vineta, thank you for blending so naturally into this work of love. I so appreciate the gentle care you offer after each session, serving herbal tea and holding that soft, nurturing space. That closing moment feels incredibly special and is so deeply valued by many.

Our next Wootton sound bath is on 11th March and I’m already looking forward to welcoming you back. The booking link is in my bio if you’d like to secure an early bird ticket. And as always, feel free to message me with any questions.

With love,
Lily 🌿

Self-love, for me, is not about doing more.
It’s about finding inner silence in a very loud world.

Sound has a gentle way of guiding us there and supporting the nervous system, softening the body,
and creating space where we can simply be.

If this resonates, stay until the end of the video to see my slightly silly, playful side too 😄 Because healing can be deep and light-hearted.
