Today we all had a really lovely, giggly morning! The aim was to draw eachothers portraits which a couple done and were quite good and funny! Doreen did a great one of Rita 😅 and then rita would give us things to draw rhat we could see like the caravan out of the window, john then went on to draw the titanic which sparked a great conversation with some google fact finding ! We then finished off with a crossword which was quite difficult, but we did pretty well! Was a really lovely morning, while June was opening her Christmas presents x

The weather, well I think we all know how awful it was this morning so very cold. But the home was lovely and warm for us all. Our winners at bingo were - Lines - Brian x 2 & Phillis. Full Houses - Brian x 2, John, Barb, Yvonne & Ann. Thank you Tracie for letting me join the residence for dinner. ❤️

National Bird Day, today we made our very own bird feeders! (Final pics to follow after they have set) we melted some butter and peanut butter and mixed with our wild bird seeds, pressed them into our molds to set.
Then we had G-Fitness for all our excersizes! 🦵💪

Active friday! We really got moving today, started off the morning with some seated excersizes which everyone did really well with 💪🦵 then we played tossing the hoop and a simple yet fun game of catch and then john and roscoe finished off with a little football game ⚽️

Cheese twist baking! Today only Kath wanted to take part which Roscoe my little helper loved as he loves kath, so it was all those 2 today.. baking away and they tasted beautiful! Well done guys 👏

Lovely morning of Bingo today with the sun beaming through the windows and the bitter cold shut out. Our winners today were - lines - Phyliss, Brian x 2, John & Mary. - Full Houses - Brian - Vera -John & Mary. More fun next Tuesday. ❤️

Active games today, we had a lot of residents completely wiped out from the festive holiday and were taking some well earned rest! But our table tennis pros were roaring to go! Kath and john did so well and even managed a few rallys! Then we had some very wet furry visitors Raffa and Gypsy 🐶🥰

What we're thankful for!

Today we had many of conversations about our year, christmas and mostly what we've been thankful for this year.. some really lovely conversations with everyone! 🥰 and alot to be thankful for.
Me and brian also took to the board again in a bid to finish our game, which we did! I won by 1 point a very tight game! And brian now calls me the scrabble queen 👸😅

Board game day, it was very quiet in laureston house today .. everyone was very tired and worn out after a whole month of jam packed festivities! So a nice easy morning.. well for a couple of us that wanted to play.
John, Sylvia and myself all played 2 rounds of snakes and ladders and then a game of Hop n Pop! Sylvia won 2 games and john 1 👏
Then Brian was after a game of scrabble.. so we started a game.. had to pause it to carry on with it on Monday!
