It contains details of local, not-for-profit organisations who can help with many issues such as mental health, addiction, housing and domestic abuse.

🔴 FLU/COVID VACCINATION CLINIC - 16 OCTOBER 2025

We are holding our Flu/Covid Vaccination Clinic for all eligible patients in Clough Presbyterian Church Hall on 16 October 2025.

Eligible patients will shortly receive their invite via text message with a link to self-book their appointment slot.

The winter flu and COVID vaccination programmes will begin on 6 October 2025.

Vaccines provide the best defence against winter viruses.

The practice will be sending out text invites shortly to eligible patients to book their vaccination appointment at upcoming clinics.

The potentially life-saving Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccination aimed at protecting newborns and older adults is available all year round.

RSV can be very serious for those who are more vulnerable, such as newborns, infants and older adults. If you’re eligible, getting vaccinated is the best and simplest thing you can do to protect yourself or your newborn baby from RSV.

From September people aged 18+ with a severely weakened immune system will be eligible for the shingles vaccination.

Currently the vaccine is available to those who are aged 65 and 70 on 1 September in addition to people aged 50 and over with severely weakened immune system. But from 1 September 2025, anyone who is aged 18 and over with severely weakened immune system (sometimes known as severely immunosuppressed) will be able to get two doses of the Shingrix vaccine.
