What is the difference ??

👐🏻 Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a very gentle, rhythmic massage technique focused on stimulating the lymphatic system to promote the flow of lymph fluid, reduce swelling, and aid detoxification.
• It is very light pressure — just enough to move skin, not muscles.
• Slow, precise, repetitive movements.
• Typically painless and soothing.
• Used for post-surgical swelling, lymphedema, or detox purposes.
• Main goal: drain lymph fluid, not to shape or break down fat.
• Bruising would be very rare

🙌🏻 Maderotherapy (Wood Therapy) uses specially designed wooden tools (cups, rollers, boards) to perform deep tissue massage. It’s often marketed as a body-sculpting or cellulite-reducing therapy. It can be applied to both face and body using different tools

• Medium to deep pressure targeting fat deposits or muscle tension.
• Uses repetitive rolling or pressing motions with firm tools.
• Stimulates circulation and may mobilize fat or fluids.
• Main goal: body contouring and cellulite reduction, not lymph drainage primarily (though there’s overlap).
• Some bruising can occur, especially in the first few sessions, but should NOT be excessive.

It’s been a very busy few months — lots of studying, learning new skills, adding some exciting new treatments, and now… building a brand new treatment room! 🛠️✨

The new room will be ready to go in January, and I honestly can’t wait to welcome you all into the new space.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all my wonderful clients for standing by me through all the chaos and renovations. Your support and patience mean the absolute world to me 💚

After many many hours practicing and testing, I’ve passed all the assessments for Level 4 sports massage.. just a mountain of theory workbooks to finish before I get my new qualification.. one step closer..

🙋‍♀️Hi All,

As many of you know, I moved to Downpatrick a couple of months ago. Thank you to all my lovely clients who have been very patient with me whilst I have been moving.

I've managed to set up a room in my new house to carry on with sports massage and I am now in the position to take bookings. I am also available to take bookings for clubs etc..
