TC's Forever Home A forever home for special needs cats. We proudly support Donard Veterinary Clinic 💜 Our lives our dedicated to our cats and their needs always come before ours.

Here at TC's forever home we adopt those cats who are considered 'too old', 'not pretty enough' or are disabled or sick. We do not re-home them, instead we give them their forever home with us on a beautiful old farmhouse in the country. Prior to starting our forever home, most of the cats we had already adopted were elderly, sick or unwanted and so we decided to start our sanctuary in order to give more of these sorts of cats their forever home. We always prioritise the physical, emotional and mental well-being of each cat that comes to live with us as often they have had a tough journey before we find them. We work hard to integrate each newcomer in to the family and ensure they have their own space should they want it.

A BIG thank you to Truly 4 Paws for the donation of litter and to the lovely Carol Corscadden for dropping it off. Anyone in rescue will tell you that besides vet bills, food, cleaning products and litter are the things that really drain out bank accounts. It is very much appreciated especially at this time of year 🥰

We have some very special thank you's to do. Firstly to everyone who has sent xmas goodies to the babies, thank you so very much, they are hidden away in our wardrobes until Santa Paws comes next week and the babas have been really spoilt. Secondly to those who have so generously paid towards out vet bill, our beautiful volunteer Karen who already does so much for us and helps keep me sane. To Marie, Noreen & Ann Carlin who support us and the babies not just at Xmas but all year round. And finally to Heather & Stephen from 7th Heaven Animal Rescue Trust who paid a massive £500 off our bill.
We are so blessed and lucky to have such incredible people in our lives ### Thank you everyone

Yesterday morning after not eating since Friday and having become very lethargic, I rushed my little Maisie into our vets. Bloods were taken and thankfully her kidneys and stuff look fine. She stayed in on fluids and ate a tiny bit last night but still not great. She is staying in again tonight as her urine is not looking the best and we're still not satisfied with the eating. It's so weird not having my angel by my side but she really is in the best of hands. A massive amount of love goes to our wonderful vet Catherine who really did go above and beyond for Maisie and myself through this, we are so very lucky to have such an incredible vet.
