Today was a big day for Poppy. She has been on new food and meds since she was last in the vet and today she had more indepth scans and bloods. My beautiful girl has recovered so well, her kidneys are working well and her levels have all come down to near normal. Her heart is good and although we got a slight increase in a liver reading she is on meds for that now. I am over the moon, this last couple of weeks have been so frightening for me worrying that I might lose my precious girl at any moment. I finally feel like I can breathe again. Massive love and thanks to my incredible vets for all their hard work. Poppy's treatment was difficult due to her having lots going on at one time but my girl is back on top thanks to Catherine and the team.

Having removed my dish sponge following madams constant stealing of it. Stevie has now taken to sitting in the sink to not only guilt trip me but also so she will be there the second the dish sponge reappears. She is obsessed 😁

Lil is a master of cuteness. The little terror waits until I've cleaned all the litter trays and then uses them as surf boards. She races into the bathroom and leaps into a tray so she shoots across the floor in it. This is then repeated many times until she is satisfied that she has well and truly wrecked the bathroom and got as much litter over the floor as possible.

Pops had a check up this afternoon. Her bloods were rerun and unfortunately showed all important levels have minor increases which obviously we don't want. The fact she is eating and drinking so well and seems her normal self, my wonderful vet Catherine is happy for her to stay at home rather than take her back in. Poppy is going on another medication to try and reduce phosphorus levels to take some pressure off kidneys. She can't go onto kidney food as it's too high in fat for her pancreas so she is staying on the low fat i/d food.
She is booked in for more indepth scans and bloods on the 30th. Whilst my little girl is doing so well I know everything could change in a heartbeat so every minute is so precious
