TC's Forever Home A forever home for special needs cats. We proudly support Donard Veterinary Clinic 💜 TC's Forever Home is a sanctuary for cats with special needs.

They may be elderly, have an illness or disability, behavioural issues or they have had a particularly tough life. I do not re-home them, this is their forever home, and they become family. Their physical health and their emotional and mental well-being are top priority because they have sometimes had a lot of challenges before they get to me. I work hard to integrate each and every newcomer, and we all live together like one big happy family. My life is dedicated not only to my cats but to the other animals in my sanctuary, including my dogs and hens. The needs of the animals come before my own, and I do everything in my power to make sure they want for nothing. TC's Forever Home would not be possible without my followers , who, alongside my volunteers and good friends help make it work. To all, I am truly grateful.

URGENT MEETING OF THE CATS OF TC’s FOREVER HOME

Agenda:

After a long committee meeting (held mostly on the kitchen table and a tablet as mum wont give us a phone), we have discovered a serious problem.

Apparently things like food, litter, heating, electricity, toys, scratch towers, beds and vet bills cost money, who knew.
There are 23 of us kitties living here and Ali takes care of all of us every single day, but since her situation changed the bills have been a bit scary.

We discussed several solutions:
•Looking extra cute
•Selling our dreamie stash
•Charging visitors for snuggles, double for Darwin snuggs

Unfortunately none of these come close to paying the bills. So we are asking our human supporters for help.
If 100 people could donated £5, it would buy a big chunk of our food, litter and medications for a month.
Do you know us cats get through over 1,500 pouches a month alongside 15kg of dry food. We use 240kg of litter a month and that's not including the medications.

If you can spare anything at all, we would be very grateful. And if you can't donate, please share this post so more humans see it.

Today my little furry matriarch Poppy had to see our vet. She had started coughing and as she already has a heart issue it was important for her to be checked over. She is on a heart medication for the next week to see if that helps as there was no obvious irritant around her throat so we are being extra cautious and treating for possible fluid around her heart. If she doesn't improve by mid week then she will be back in for xrays. Really hoping the meds work as anaesthesia on a little doggy of Poppy's age is never nice.
