We, the family of the late Jean Murray wish to convey our sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who sympathized with us during the sad loss of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

A special thanks to those who called at the house, sent expressions of sympathy and mass cards and also to all those who helped in any way.

A special thanks to Fr Tony McHugh and Fr Dominic McGrattan for their pastoral care and support. A heartfelt thanks to Fr Dominic for conducting a beautiful, personal requiem Mass for aunt Jean. Also thankyou to Bernie and Marty Campbell for the lovely singing throughout the Mass.

Frances’ remains will arrive at Magherdroll Parochial House, Ballynahinch BT24 8AF at 12 noon on Monday, the 30 March. Removal on Tuesday, the 31 March at 5:45 pm for 6 pm Reception at Saint Patrick’s Church Ballynahinch.

The family of the late Kevin Gordon wish to pass on our sincere thanks and gratitude to family, friends, neighbours and all those who sympathised with us on the sad loss of a beloved brother, brother in law, uncle and grand-uncle.

We the family of Cecilia Smyth, would like to profoundly express our deep appreciation to those who have supported us during the sad loss of our loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the funeral, visited the funeral home, sent Mass and sympathy cards and shared messages of condolences. Also not forgetting those who provided refreshments.

We are overwhelmed by the kindness and support we have received from everyone and have drawn great comfort from this.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to Father Aidan Brankin and Deacon Jackie Breen for the Requiem Mass and prayers at the wake house and for their words of comfort during this sad time.
We would like to thank Fr. Peter O'Kane for his tireless dedication to visiting Cecilia's bedside and ensuring she felt close to the Lord in her final months.

Our dearest thanks to all the dedicated staff in Ward 2, Downe Hospital, the beautiful nurses, Doctors and auxiliary staff, the doctors and staff of Struell surgery, the catering staff and the transport department for their kindness and care and ensuring Cecilia's comfort and dignity were prioritised in her final weeks.

Finally sincere thanks to Ciaran and staff at Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for their courtesy and professionalism in which they organised and carried out Cecilia's funeral.

Cecilia's month's mind will be held on Wednesday 1st April 2026 in Stella Maris Church, Strangford at 7.30pm Mass.

May our dearest Cecilia rest now in the loving arms of Jesus and his blessed mother.
