Aidan Campbell

We, the family of the late Aidan Campbell, wish to pass on our sincere thanks and gratitude to family, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us during our sad loss of a devoted father.

A special thank you to everyone who called at the house, sent Mass and sympathy cards, telephoned, sent messages or helped in any way.

Thank you to Fr. Vincent McKay for conducting the Requiem Mass and his words of comfort. Thanks also to Finbarr Keaveney for the beautiful singing at the Requiem Mass.

Thank you to the staff of Wood lodge Nursing Home, Castlewellan for their care of Aidan.

Thank you to the staff in Ward 1, Downe Hospital who treated and cared for Aidan during his illness and in his last days with us.

Also, a special thanks to those who donated to NI Chest, Heart and Stroke Charity.

Thank you to Ciaran Fitzpatrick and staff at Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude from the Campbell & Milner families.

Aidan’s months mind mass will take place on Sunday 4th January at 1030am in St Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick.

Hugh Doran

The family of the late Hugh Doran who sadly passed away on 28th November wish to express our deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous love, support, and kindness shown to us during our time of bereavement.

We sincerely thank all our family and friends who offered prayers, sent mass cards, comforting words, visits, messages, and thoughtful gestures. Your kindness has been a great source of strength to us at this very difficult time.

We are especially grateful to those who travelled to be with us. Your presence and effort meant more to us than words can express.

To all those who helped during the wake, brought food and refreshments and served tea we will be forever grateful.

We wish to acknowledge and thank all those who cared for Hugh throughout his illness with dignity and sensitivity especially the staff in Ringdufferin Nursing Home, Ulster Hospital and Killyleagh GP practice.

A special word of thanks to Fr Henry Mc Cann PP who gave him the sacrament of the sick. To Deacon Niall O'Hara who said prayers at the house. To Fr Ciaran Dallat PP for celebrating Hugh’s funeral Mass with kind words and prayers and visiting Hugh at the nursing home.

Special thanks to Mary Leahy for setting up the altar for the Mass. We are very grateful to Letitia Fitzpatrick for providing the beautiful music. Also, a word of thanks to the staff of French's, Clough for supplying the food and refreshments after the funeral at Louginisland GAC, and thanks to the club for making the hall available.

Our sincere thanks go to Ciaran Fitzpatrick from Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors, Downpatrick for their excellent guidance, compassion, and professionalism in carrying out Hugh's funeral arrangements. Thanks to the grave diggers for an excellent job.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Hugh's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 27th December 2025 at 6.30pm in St McCartan's Church, Loughinisland.
