Cushla Flynn – RIP
The family of the late Cushla Flynn wish to express their sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported and sympathised with them during their recent bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who called at the family home, attended the funeral, sent flowers, Mass cards and sympathy cards, and shared messages of condolence. Your kindness, prayers, and support have been a great comfort to us during this difficult time.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to Father Brown and Deacon Sean for their support, care, and spiritual guidance, and we thank Deacon Sean for the beautiful and dignified service.
We extend our deep appreciation to the doctors and nurses of the Intensive Care Unit at the Ulster Hospital for the exceptional care, compassion, and dedication shown to Cushla during her sudden and short illness.
Our thanks to Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors, especially Ciaran, for his guidance, professionalism, and for the dignity and respect with which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
We are very grateful to Finbarr Keaveney for the beautiful singing, which made the service so special, and to Janet’s Flowers for the beautiful floral arrangements.
We also thank Declan Murdock, AJC, and Drumaness GAC for the kindness, generosity, and support shown to our family during this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to Goodness Grazious for the beautiful food and refreshments provided following the funeral, which were greatly appreciated.
We are especially grateful to St Colman’s High and Sixth Form College, St Malachy’s High School, and Our Lady and St Patrick’s Primary School for the guard of honour, which was a deeply touching tribute.
We also wish to thank all those who kindly provided food and refreshments for the family home. Your generosity and thoughtfulness were greatly appreciated.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our family’s deep appreciation and gratitude.
Cushla’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 22nd February at 11.00am in St Patrick’s Church, Ballynahinch.
