When someone takes the time to share their experience of working with us, it means a great deal.

This feedback comes from a key worker within one of the services we support, someone who has seen first hand how steady, person centred support can help someone stay connected to their community and continue living the life they choose.

Hearing that our team has played a part in upholding someone’s wishes is something we never take lightly. It reflects the care, patience and everyday thought that go into supporting people safely at home and the trust families and professionals place in us.

We are grateful for every piece of feedback we receive. It reminds us why we do this work and reinforces our commitment to providing support that protects independence, dignity and choice.

Their answers reflect the heart of our work. Making sure no one feels alone. Standing alongside teams who give up their own time to care for others. Keeping routines steady so service users feel safe and supported.

On Saturday, our Kingdom Healthcare team in Northern Ireland got together at the Cabaret Supper Club in Belfast for our Christmas party.

It was a brilliant evening with plenty of laughs and great company, as we celebrated everything our team has achieved this year.

Here’s to building on that success and making an even bigger impact in 2026. 🙌

Today is International Men’s Day, a time to recognise the positive impact men have in our communities and workplaces.

In health and social care, men make up a smaller proportion of the workforce, yet their contribution is vital.

At Kingdom Healthcare, we are proud of the men who work with us as carers, nurses, support workers and managers. Every day they show compassion, professionalism and resilience in roles that truly change lives.

These are demanding jobs that require patience and empathy. The men in this sector show what it means to care with integrity and commitment, helping to create safe and supportive environments for those who need them most.

We’re delighted to share that our Lurgan branch has just completed its latest RQIA inspection with no requirements and no recommendations.

This means every part of our service was found to be fully compliant, with no improvements needed. It reflects the consistent quality, care and professionalism our team brings to their work every single day.

A huge thank you to Patricia, our brilliant Registered Manager, for her leadership and dedication, and to the entire Lurgan team for the care, attention and heart they bring to everything they do.

We understand that starting a new role in care can feel like a big step.

There’s a lot to take in, and it’s important to feel confident and supported from the very beginning.

That’s why we’ve made face-to-face training part of how we welcome new carers. It gives people the chance to learn practical skills in a real setting, ask questions as they go and build confidence with guidance from experienced trainers.

We want every carer to feel prepared and supported, not just during training, but throughout their journey with us.

Congratulations to our Registered Manager Patricia Butler and our Compliance Officer Barbara Morley who graduated on Friday, after successfully completing their Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care with Southern Regional College.

The graduation ceremony was held at the Armagh City Hotel and marked a brilliant milestone in their professional journey.

We couldn’t be prouder to see them recognised for all the hard work they’ve put in. It’s a great achievement and a reflection of their continued commitment to learning and leadership in care.
